Louder Girl Community | SISTERHOOD. AMPLIFY. REVOLUTION. |

Welcome to Louder Girl, where we rewrite narratives and amplify the strength of every woman.

Defying stereotypes with boldness and authenticity. Join us in reclaiming our stories and embracing our true power. LOUDER GIRL is a revolution empowering women to reclaim their stories and break free from outdated narratives. What started as Representation Rebellion, founded by Dr. Z (Michelle Zive), has evolved into Louder Girl—a movement challenging ageism and sexism while celebrating the stren

gth, wisdom, and power of women over 50. It all began when a woman shouted "Louder, Girl!"—a moment that ignited a call to action for women ready to amplify their voices and step into their power. From a wake-up call in my 30s to earning my PhD and confronting the biases silencing women’s voices, Louder Girl was born to help women share their authentic stories and disrupt the status quo. Join us in rewriting societal norms, embracing your unique voice, and building a world where women are seen, heard, and celebrated.

🖊️ Sometimes the bravest thing you can do is put your story on paper.

During our last Louder Girl webinar, we wrote about our proudest accomplishments and bravest moments.
The results?

Women rediscovering forgotten strengths.

Strangers cheering each other on.

Stories that had been hidden in silence are finally taking up space.

When women write and share together, we tell stories, and we spark change.

You leave knowing you’re not alone, and you carry a little more courage into your day.

Want to feel that rush of connection and clarity?

Join our next Louder Girl webinar—where your voice is heard, your story is honored, and your presence matters.

From the outside, it looked like I had it all…

But inside? I was spiraling.

I played small. I smiled on cue. I checked every box and still felt like I was disappearing.

Then I hit a wall (and sobbed in a hotel conference room 💼😭).
What came next? A therapist, a truth bomb, and a decision:

🔥 I’m DONE playing small.
I’m living LOUD, messy, real and finally, free.

Louder Girl and this blog is for every woman who’s ever smiled through the chaos and thought, is this it?
Spoiler: It’s not.

Read the full story on our Louder Girl blog. It might just be the permission slip you didn’t know you needed.

Well, well, well, perhaps we got too loud or too big for our britches. Perhaps we should have been more grateful that we are afforded "an" INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY, and by golly, we do have the whole month of March to celebrate women. YAY! Please hear the dripping sarcasm in my comments.

The truth is that our culture, institutions, and corporations are trying to erase women (and the LGBTQ+, BIPOC, middle class and poor communities). Google claimed that they can't "celebrate" all the people and communities that "need" to be celebrated. Please see my last post about the Google image used for IWD: https://www.facebook.com/photo?fbid=1256427166485622&set=a.476284261166587

There has always been a concerted effort to silence us, to make us invisible. PLEASE don't let them erase us. Tell your stories. Write. Talk with people outside your circle. Support other women trying to be heard and seen.

What does this image mean to you? What is the story here?

I went on Google today, INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY, and this was the image that greeted me. So, I thought, "Okay, they're honoring science." When I clicked on the image it was indeed for INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY with Google celebrating all the discoveries and breakthroughs women have contributed. Does this scream women and stem? It doesn't for me.

So what, Dr. Z? At least they are honoring women in STEM.
Are they? I don't see it. And that's the problem, our culture doesn't see us.

To all of you who are telling your stories, fighting the good fight, calling out inequities, keep it up! We need to get LOUDER, GIRL!

To every woman reading this: You are a STONG. You are WORTHY. You are a FORCE.

For too long, the world has told women to stay small, to dim their light, to fit into a mold. But we were never meant to be anything less than extraordinary. Our strength, our voices, and our presence deserve to be seen, heard, and celebrated—not just in March, but every single day.

This is your reminder: You are worthy. You are powerful. You belong in every room, at every table, in every conversation. Stand tall, take up space, and never shrink for anyone. When one woman rises, we all rise. Let’s lift each other, amplify each other, and remind the world just how unstoppable we are.

You are not an afterthought.

Society loves to tell women that love is something we earn through others. That our worth is measured in relationship status. That a single day on the calendar determines whether we are enough.

But here’s the truth—you are the love story. Your existence is proof that love is more than a partnership. It’s the resilience in your journey, the fire in your voice, the way you uplift others and yourself.

This Valentine’s Day, don’t shrink. Don’t wait. Honor the love you’ve built within yourself. Celebrate the woman you’ve become and the one you are still becoming. Because you are worth celebrating—today and always.

Every woman who has ever been underestimated holds the power to redefine the narrative.

Beyoncé just made history—winning Best Country Album and Album of the Year for Cowboy Carter. A genre that tried to shut her out couldn’t ignore the demand. A system that overlooked her had to recognize her power. She was mocked, dismissed, and counted out. And yet—she kept creating. Kept pushing. Kept owning her voice.

Let this be your reminder: No system, no gatekeeper, no outdated rulebook decides your worth. YOU do. And when you rise, the world will have no choice but to listen.

Thank you to Beyoncé, an inspiration to every woman who has been knocked down, bone-tired, and ready to give up—yet still rises, still pushes forward.

👉Who are the LOUDER GIRLS in your life? How do YOU rise, no matter who tries to hold you back?
