Stop rushing perfection if you want results that matter. Glenmorangie uses sixteen men and Scotland's tallest stills to make whisky that refuses to be hurried.

Founded in 1843 in the Scottish Highlands. Pioneered cask finishing decades before it became standard—maturing whisky in ex-bourbon barrels, then finishing in port pipes, sherry casks, wine barrels. Their stills are 26 feet tall (tallest in Scotland), producing lighter, more delicate spirit that captures orchard fruits and honey.

Well here we are, Thanksgiving under our belts (that we had to unbuckle), Black Friday gone, Small Business Saturday over, and now the holiday season begins.

And what a f**king spread it was. Philippe Glavier Champagne cutting through that butter-basted bird like a dream. Hibou keeps things crisp and bright next to all that sage stuffing. The Status Quo Chardonnay proves once again that ABC is just wrong and Pinot Noir belongs at every celebration.

We went big this year—virtual tastings, real plates, and enough wine to make sure nobody remembered their weird uncle's political rants. Violet came with a smile, Nichole brought the charm, I brought the whiskey knowledge, and together we made it through another turkey-fueled marathon without burning down the kitchen.

So what's next? More of this. More bubbles, more spirits, more unapologetic celebration of the season. Because if there's one thing we've learned after 25+ years in this industry, it's that the holidays are better with a glass in hand and zero f**ks to give about doing it "properly."

Pour something good. The real party's just getting started.
