Today, Leilani Fratis from the Placer SPCA talked about Milo, a 4 year old male Mastiff/Lab mix. He's a sweet boy with a loyal heart and independent nature looking for his new forever home.

This is your 96.9 The Eagle afternoon rocker Ken Anthony with another edition of "Capri's Corner"....my way of honoring my beloved dog Capri who passed away in March 2024. Today, Leilani Fratis from the Placer SPCA and I did our normal hour where we talked about Ivory, a 6 year old female Argentine Dogo mix....who is deaf, but is a sweet and playful dog looking for her new forever home. We also made a big announcement that I have adopted my new forever friend Bobo from the Placer SPCA. He's a 5 year old lab/pit mix that lived in two homes before he was surrendered to the Placer SPCA where he lived for two months before I noticed this boy and decided to foster him. That led to a trial adoption and eventually my full adoption of this guy. He's been through a lot and his energy level is off the charts. I'm sharing two photos of this boy along with an awesome photo my 98 Rock colleague Abe Kanan sent to me with the spirit of my beloved Capri on the left, and Bobo, the boy I fully believed she channeled to me on the right. There will never be another Capri, but there will also never be another Bobo...they are God's creatures we are blessed to share time with.
