Pioneer CT-f1250 top of the line cassette deck.

This one was completely serviced. New rollers, idler, belt, clean and l**e and alignment. Excellent, low wow & flutter and high bias recordings.

Ready to go back to its owner.

We've relocated to East Knoxville Tennessee. However the shop is still packed up in many containers. Bear with us as we find the time and energy to get set baçk up. It may be a few months before we're able to take in repairs.

1981 RCA.13" with the Ctc-96 chassis.
This one had no color or intermittent color lock.

The problem actually turned out to be in the horizontal oscillator which was effecting synchronization of the color. Two transistors and some capacitors in the oscillator circuit cured it ina very abbreviated sense.

Finished up a 1957 General electric 14 " b&w portable for it's owner, a collector.

This was filled with bad capacitors got a new rectifier and drop resistor, a new CRT from a donor, and resoldering of all the tube sockets and boards. New IF and sound tubes as well.

These were made terribly. Whatever cost cutting methods GE could use, they did. Unless you have a test jig to run the chassis outside the set, you cannot troubleshoot or align the set with the chassis installed.

No transformer either. Run directly off the AC line and the chassis is always at potential! To combat this, they isolated the chassis from the metal cabinet with plastic grommets - which have been replaced on this set as well

1980 Tatung 9" color portable. This was saved from a hoarder house that was to be bulldozed.

Did some power supply repairs, installed a new cord, replaced a few caps, resoldered the board, did all the setups on the picture.

Very nice looking set, and it's off to a new home already!
