I am literally SHAKING with anger right now…

I’m driving down the road and this guy is in front of me with his truck piled sky-high with watermelons like he’s trying to set a world record for stupidity. The load is so overloaded and unstable it’s a miracle the whole thing hasn’t collapsed yet.

And of course, right before the light, a watermelon flies off and nearly smashes my windshield. I had to swerve just to avoid it!

This is beyond reckless. It’s a serious hazard to everyone on the road. One wrong bump and dozens of watermelons become deadly projectiles. I immediately called the cops because this nonsense needs to stop.

If you can’t secure your load properly, don’t drive it.

The selfishness and complete lack of common sense is actually insane. Some of us are trying to get home safely and not dodge flying fruit because you decided to improvise like a redneck engineer.

This level of dangerous, inconsiderate driving is ridiculous and should be illegal.

I don't have a problem with motorcycles.

I just wasn't expecting one to be parked on the second floor. 😭🏍️

That's the part I can't stop thinking about.

Not the bike.

The logistics.

Because motorcycles don't magically appear upstairs.

Somebody had a plan.

And I need to know what that plan was. 😂

Was there a ramp?

An elevator?

A group of very determined friends?

Or did someone look at a staircase and think, "Yeah, we can make this work."

The more I think about it, the less interested I am in the motorcycle itself.

Now I'm completely invested in the story behind how it got there.

Because getting it up is one thing.

Getting it back down feels like a future problem that's going to be just as interesting. 😅

Honestly, if I walked outside and saw this, I'd probably spend five minutes staring at it trying to solve the mystery.

Can we bring back at least a little bit of public decorum?

I was at the grocery store today, and the person in front of me was wearing a cut-off shirt that was basically open all the way down both sides. There wasn't much left to the imagination.

In a crowded grocery store.

In the middle of the day.

With families and kids everywhere.

And what surprised me most was that nobody else seemed remotely bothered by it.

Maybe I'm just getting old, but I don't think grocery shopping should feel like an accidental trip to a beach party.

I'm all for people wearing what they want, but I've always thought there's a time and place for everything. The frozen food aisle probably isn't where I expect to see someone's entire side profile on display.

And before anyone says, "Just don't look," that's easier said than done when you're standing directly behind someone in line waiting to check out.

Call me judgmental if you want, but I still think shared public spaces work better when people show a little awareness of the people around them.

Am I alone on this one, or has anyone else noticed that the definition of "appropriate grocery store attire" has gotten a lot more flexible lately?

While you leave your oil on the supermarket car park.

This is why your crappy fossil car needs an annual service, regular maintenance and regular oil changes.

Otherwise it doesn’t work.

I took my kids out to eat, and within a few minutes I was already wondering why we came here. 😭

Our waitress walked up wearing a tight black top and bright white shorts that looked more like workout clothes than something you’d expect on the restaurant floor. Maybe some people don’t think twice about it, but when you’re sitting there with your family trying to enjoy dinner, it definitely stands out.

I’m not trying to be rude, but there really should be a difference between gym wear and a restaurant uniform. Am I overreacting, or does this feel a little too casual for serving tables?

I stopped at a fast-food restaurant today and noticed a sign by the register that sparked a bigger conversation than the restaurant probably intended.

The sign said kids meals are for children 12 and under only. If an adult orders one, they'll be charged the adult meal price. Then it ended with three words:

“WE WILL ASK.”

And that’s the part that caught my attention.

A kids meal is simply a smaller portion. Not everyone wants a large meal. Some people are watching calories. Some are trying to save money. Some just prefer less food. And yes, some people enjoy getting the little toy that comes with it.

None of those reasons seem unreasonable.

But somewhere along the way, ordering a smaller meal became something that needed to be monitored. A sign was posted. A policy was written. Employees were told to question customers before allowing them to buy less food.

What’s interesting is that the restaurant spends less on the smaller meal, yet an adult wanting that option is treated like they're trying to get away with something.

Maybe the goal is protecting a promotion meant for kids. Maybe it’s about profit margins. But when a customer needs to explain themselves just to order a smaller portion, it starts to feel like the policy is solving a problem most people never thought existed.

$700 tip update: SHE WAS FIRED TODAY!
My daughter has worked at Olive Garden for a year. Yesterday she received a $700 tip on a $30 tab and was obviously excited. A manager told her they could not pay it out yet and instructed her to write “0” on the tip line until it could be verified. She became upset because no one could tell her how long that would take.

She asked a coworker to take her next table because she was visibly emotional, and management told her she could either do her job or leave. She took the table and finished her shift. Later they said they could give her 20% while the rest was reviewed. One manager said 1-2 days another said up to 120 days.

This morning, when she arrived for work, they decided to 'part ways' over her “behavior” from yesterday and handed her paperwork stating tips over a certain amount are subject to manager review. They also told her it could take up to 120 days to receive the money and even called the police on her because she was crying and upset.
Those who follow me will know this is Kenzo’s mom. My 4 year old autistic grandson's single momma.

She was upset after being told she couldn’t receive a $700 tip she had just earned. And fired before her shift started today. That's just mean!

Where was this paper yesterday to explain the protocol OLIVE GARDEN?

Neighbors keep leaving kids’ bikes and scooters in the stairwell, and it’s starting to drive me a bit nuts.

I’m pretty much the only one in the building who actually uses the stairs regularly, so I guess everyone else doesn’t really notice how annoying it’s getting.

But what bothers me most is that this is supposed to be an emergency exit route. If there was ever a fire or someone needed to get out fast, all that stuff would be right in the way.

Am I overreacting, or should stairwells and emergency exits always be kept completely clear no matter what? 🚲🛴🚨

I came out to my car ready to go home and saw this giant bright yellow notice slapped across my windshield. My heart dropped because I thought I’d just gotten hit with some insane parking ticket. It literally says “$300 FINE” in huge letters, so naturally I’m standing there doing math in my head about what bill isn’t getting paid this month.

Then I actually read it and realized it wasn’t even from parking enforcement. It was from my own company. Apparently I forgot to sign up for some mandatory team-building retreat, and instead of sending a normal email like functioning adults, somebody thought it’d be hilarious to make fake violation notices and stick them on employees’ cars. Half the parking lot was out there panicking and checking their windshields like we’d all committed federal crimes.

Here’s where people are gonna hate me. I got irritated enough that I marched into HR, grabbed every extra notice I could find, and spent my lunch break putting them on managers’ cars too. Suddenly the people who thought the prank was “great for engagement” weren’t laughing anymore when they came outside thinking they’d been fined. One manager actually called building security before realizing it was the same fake notice they approved.

Now HR is annoyed, management is annoyed, and somehow I’m being labeled “unprofessional” because I gave everyone the exact same experience they thought was so funny for the rest of us.

Ordered 6 cases of water plus other items to a 4th floor apartment with no elevator… and tipped $0.00. 😡

I’m seriously trying to understand the mindset here. Six cases of water is already heavy enough, then you add groceries, detergent, snacks, paper towels, and still select “leave at door” like I’m supposed to haul everything up four flights for free?

Nah. I’m not a pack mule. I’m not your personal mover. I’m not breaking my back for someone who couldn’t even tip one dollar.

Drivers use their own gas, time, and bodies to get these orders delivered. If you live on the 4th floor with no elevator and order this much heavy stuff, at least show some respect.

I dropped it at the bottom of the stairs and kept it moving. Enjoy the stair climb, champ. 🙃
