how to respect yourself? stop begging others

I don’t force anybody to treat me right. I just leave people alone and keep it moving with my life. I learned a long time ago that if respect and effort don’t come natural, I don’t want it forced.

I’m not about to beg for basic energy or try to convince anybody to value me. I’d rather just step back, stay out the way, and keep my peace intact.

The real flex is keeping a good heart even when life give you every reason not to. When you been lied to, used, switched up on, and counted out, but you still choose love. You still loyal, still genuine, and still show up for people even when nobody showed up for you.

That kind of energy rare. The world will test you, drain you, and try to make you cold. But if you still moving with good intentions after everything you been through, that say a lot about your character. A heart like that don’t come around twice. 💯

“They say you handled it so well.” Nah, I really didn’t. I was losing my mind behind closed doors, my spark fading while I tried to act like everything was straight. I was hurting in silence, breaking down in private, and nobody saw it.

On the outside I kept a smile, but it was just a mask. I made it look calm, but inside I was fighting battles nobody knew about.
