uggling with my family. I’m most excited about getting to know you, connecting with you and documenting you for who you are at this moment in time. I love to travel, so don’t hesitate to ask. You can frequently find me visiting the nearby deserts of Palm Springs and Joshua Tree – some of my favorite scenic backdrops. It’s a short trip to the unreal Ocotillo Dunes and the gorgeous Cuyamaca Rancho State Park and some of my favorite images have been created here. Let’s adventure!

Heading out to the desert to photograph my last wedding of the year, and possibly my last wedding ever? I took a step back from weddings in 2017 to spend more time with my mom who was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer’s. That time was hard and beautiful and heartbreaking and really freaking hard. But it allowed me the space to realize what is important in life and what just isn’t. Life and family and good friends are precious. That’s what I’ve always loved about weddings, and that’s the high I’m always chasing. But sometimes chasing that high meant missing choir performances and baseball games and that just isn’t it for me. So while I’m not quite sure if weddings are still in my future (ok, ok tempt me with a Joshua Tree elopement ❤️‍🔥) I am beyond thankful for all the couples who let me into their lives for just a little bit. Some of my most cherished friendships have developed from photographing weddings. So let’s wrap this year up on the highest note in one of my favorite places, with some of my favorite people. ✌️
