Two events -– a 5K run and community carnival — are being held in 4S Ranch to celebrate the Fourth of July on Friday. Thousands from throughout the county are expected to gather at the 4S Ranch Sports Park early in the morning for the inaugural San Diego Fourth of July 5K run.
