We did not know Sarah Jones but it hits home on many levels. In this industry we've either been put in situations or put ourselves in situations that compromises safety just to get a shot or satisfy a client. This industry has to do a better job of investing in people's welfare and companies hiring should support that same mind set.

Local 600 is shocked and saddened by the loss of Atlanta area Camera Assistant, Sarah Elizabeth Jones. Sarah was an active and proud member of Local 600 and a well respected Camera Assistant, much loved by those who worked with her. Our hearts and thoughts go out to her family and friends in this time of terrible tragedy. She will be deeply missed.
