A lot of AFROBEATS has that deep house, house music feel. You know, I love Afro beats !
I used to LOVEEEEEE going to CONFIDENTIAL, a lounge in San Diego at 9PM. Before the club started popping off around 11. You’d hear the deep house from 9-10:30. That was my vibe.
I hated trance at Intervention, but when Electronic music started incorporating House Music and Deep House music in it… I started loving it. I love Kaskade. And a few other “EDM” artists. Kaskade Is from chi town which always reminded me of back home going to Funky Budda Lounge. EDM is interesting because they just bunch everything under that label.
To MEEEEE the Drake Album is that. All of that.
It’s not drill music. It’s not Gangsta rap. It’s not conscious rap. Its not back pack rap. It’s not even a rap album.
I was just talking about this when I was a dj and wanted to transition into photographer people could NOT take me seriously As a photographer bye cause they only knew me as a DJ.
I had to move to San Diego in order to truly become a photographer.
People just don’t like change and people clearly done like chameleons.
I personally like the album because it reminds of Confidential in ‘06. Confidential, San Diego
I been wanting that vibe back…. Since then.
