I love the cocktail hour - as it’s the best opportunity for me to make actual in-person observations about the guests I’ll be playing for!
What they are wearing, eating, how’s the interaction among themselves, the mood, response to tracks im playing… and I can make my best first impressions with good eye contact and feeling connected to them and making myself approachable and not someone walled off inside the DJ booth.

I have never pressed play on an auto playlist like most DJs do at this time.
Im in fact the opposite- where I am focused on bringing in some surprise elements, like when the bride is not expecting her favorite romantic song - but there it is!! Even though she didn’t have to spoon feed me this info!

It’s not true that no one’s listening - music, even in the background, can have the biggest impact to everyone’s mood and bringing in the right vibe.

Your wedding day deserves a vibe as unique as you - work with me to see the difference!
