Hey gram fam, I started grad school last week β€οΈ For those of you who know the struggles I've faced as someone with a rare acquired neurodivergence that has not been studied much, this has been a very uphill battle (this is my 4th attempt at a post-grad degree).
Despite hearing more than once that the ADA accommodations I need are "too much," I kept pushing. I am actually very grateful to the accommodstions coordinator at the who is by some miracle familiar with Complex-PTSD πππ She has me piloting some different accommodations until we figure out the right solution.
Despite a truly challenging first week (I'm dealing with C-PTSD & the fact that the last time I was in school email was new and I didn't surf the internet for the first time until right before I graduated), I'm hanging in. I'm realizing the was the 504 plan that allowed me to graduate from the Phi Beta Kappa π with honors π ...now I'm really grieving the loss of having to be measured with a neurotypical 4.0 measuring stick again, sigh π₯Ί
God grant me the strength...for my M.S. in Strategic Marketing π§ββοΈππ€
