If you’ve never been to a food trade show, here’s a sneak peek into the Specialty Food Association Winter Fancy Food Faire!

I love checking out these type of shows because it gives me an insider look at what types of trends are coming in the food world.

I love creating fun, easy recipes for families and these type of shows help me decide what types of products I want to work with each year.

I learned about different produce trends from Melissa's Produce and breadfruit from Hawai‘i ‘Ulu Cooperative

I tried delicious cheesy ramen from otoki global, awesome brisket jerky Brisket Chips, sauce from Super Lova, and tasty bites from ,

I went to a conference by myself and never once felt alone.
🫶🏼
The made for an amazing start to 2026! Everyone was so kind and welcoming. I met a group of ladies the first night and we kept in contact even through now in the group chat.

I met people I’ve admired for their hard work and dedication to blogging for years! The conference had some incredibly talented speakers and the coolest emcee!

We enjoyed a lot of delicious food and stayed at a beautiful hotel.

Do the things that are exciting but scary. Put yourself out there. Learn, grow, connect, expand.

You’re going to love these easy Air Fryer Salmon Bowls made with miso honey glaze and spicy mayo!

This is my new favorite dish and my first new recipe of 2026.

1 Pound of Salmon
1 Cup of White Rice
3 Tablespoons of Soy Sauce
2 Tablespoons of Honey
1 Tablespoon of White Vinegar
2 Tablespoons of Miso Paste
1 Large English Cucumber
1-2 Ripe Avocados
2 Carrots, Sliced Thin
3 Tablespoons of Mayo
3 Tablespoons of Sriracha
1 Tablespoon of Sesame Seeds
3 Green Onions, sliced thin

Tastemakers is a conference for Food Bloggers and I’ve always wanted to attend. I set a goal last year after meeting up with some OG SD bloggers that I would come, and be accepted to a top Ad Agency. approved my blog just a couple weeks before the conference!
