Master Mike Wall and G**o Heather Wall run an amazing martial arts program in Paradise Valley Arizona. I always enjoy visiting their tremendous school. Last week, in the scorching deserts of Arizona, we had a great photo session with their amazing students. G**o Heather is not only one of the best Kali instructors in the western states, she is also one of the kindest senseis in the country. And Master Wall is a true gentleman and a formidable Master. This season, I was deeply humbled to receive an Honorary Black Belt from my Grand Master, KJN Ernie Reyes Sr. of West Coast Martial Arts—a moment that reaffirmed why the martial arts community feels like family. His example of true mastery, discipline, and heart has shaped the way our team shows up, bringing that same spirit of respect and gratitude into every school we visit.

My journey began simply: as an eager student who fell in love with martial arts, later a stunt performer in Hollywood movies, and eventually a Martial Arts Photographer and Motion Picture Producer/Director. Along the way, my wife’s tireless dedication kept our family unified as I travelled across North America season after season, and our children—black belts themselves—grew up immersed in this world. Martial arts has never been just my career; it’s been our family’s shared path.

To every Sensei, Instructor, Martial Arts Student, and Parent we’ve had the honor to serve: thank you. Your passion for growth, discipline, and the true spirit of martial arts continues to inspire our work. Your trust makes this journey meaningful, and we are grateful to be part of your legacy—on and far beyond the mat.
