Our 7th Annual "PARTY for the PAWS" fundraiser event benefiting the San Diego Animal Support Foundation, a 501c3 organization which helps HOMELESS animals in and around the San Diego area find their forever homes. Their efforts include holding multiple adoption events each year, working with more than 35 local she
lters and rescue groups, and they take a homeless animal (dog, cat, bunny, etc.) on TV (Channel 6, the CW) each and every morning in an effort to find them their forever home - among many other notable animal related activities. Our event is based around the KENTUCKY DERBY and we do our best to bring the Derby here to Southern California. There will be plenty of new things to enjoy each year - and rest assured - our famous HAT CONTEST will definitely be part of the days festivities...
MONEY RAISED/DONATED:
100% of the entry fee, plus the additional monies raised through raffle tickets, silent auction items, 50/50 raffle, Pony Pool and a portion of the days food/liquor sales at our host location - The Lumberyard Tavern & Grill - will go directly to the San Diego Animal Support Foundation (SDASF). The combined totals of these activities that we have raised/donated through your generosity have been:

2014 = $9,250
2013 = $3,750
2012 = $4,200
2011 = $3,800
That's more than $46,000 since our inception !! :-)
This event and your charitable donations, involvement and support have helped us to become the SDASF single largest one-time donation each year - that is something we can all be very proud of !! MISSION:
Our mission is simple: to raise as much money as we can to help as many animals in need as possible. In our efforts to achieve that goal, we keep the event simple, classy and fun so that our overhead is almost non-existent. I, along with a few dedicated volunteers, donate all of our time and effort to make this event possible simply out of our overwhelming love and compassion for animals of all kinds.
