✨Everyone’s journey in sports is uniquely their own, and sometimes it takes longer to reach certain milestones than we’d like. But that’s okay! Progress isn’t always linear, and every step forward, no matter how small, is still a step in the RIGHT direction. It’s easy to compare ourselves to others, but remember that everyone is on their own path. Keep pushing through the tough days, stay patient, and never lose sight of why you started. Your time will come, and all the hard work, dedication, and persistence will pay off. Keep believing in yourself, and never give up✨

If you're serious about improving, stop making excuses. Not practicing outside of your lessons or practice time? That's a choice, not a reason. Every time you skip putting in the work, you're holding yourself back from the progress you deserve.

Success doesn’t come from just showing up – it comes from the work you put in when no one is watching. Don’t let excuses be the reason you stay stuck. 🌱

The time you invest outside of your lessons is what separates the ones who make it from the ones who don't. So no more excuses. Just show up. Put in the work. Get better. šŸ’Ŗ

Remember, at the end of the day, it’s only hurting you. Keep pushing. Keep improving.

Huge shoutout to one of my pitchers who earned MVP this past weekend! šŸ’„šŸ™Œ

This girl WORKS. She shows up early, puts in the work at home, competes with heart, and brings the best attitude every single day. Her fire and hustle is unreal.

I’m so proud of everything she’s accomplished, and I cannot WAIT to see what we build together this off-season. šŸš€šŸ’Ŗ

Coaching her is truly one of my favorite parts of this game — I absolutely love being her coach! šŸ’›šŸ–¤šŸ„Ž

Private Softball Lessons

Most know me as Julie, but a lot know me as Coach too.

My softball journey began in Southern California. I was a multiple sport athlete until I was about 15 years old when I know that softball was my passion. Softball didn’t come easily to me, it was something I had to work hard at, and dedicate my time to. I played 8 years of Competitive Travel Softball, 4 years of High School ball, and 3 years at the Collegiate Level attending Kansas Wesleyan University. I have endured many obstacles in my softball career. I have worked through and come back from a torn knee, a broken hand, and an appendicitis. Although it was tough and a struggle being off through each injury, I always managed to come back and strive to be just as strong as I was before. I understand how difficult it is to come back from an injury after months off. I understand that it can take not only a physical tole, but a mental one as well. Which is a big factor in why I have decided to continue my softball career and coach and give private lessons.

I have now been giving private Pitching, Fielding, and Hitting lessons for the past 5 years, and have been a head coach for a competitive team for 3 years now. I love coaching and giving back to the softball community. I want to share my experiences, passion, and better young female athletes. I want to teach them all that softball has taught me. Softball is more than a game, but a window into what life is going to be like in their future. Responsibility, challenges, leadership, communication, relationships and so much more.

I strive in every way to be the best private instructor/coach I can be. I don’t claim to know everything, but I will do everything in my power to be THE BEST and bring out the best in my athletes.
