Hey Filmmakers in San Diego,,

Do you have a feature to promote?

Did you release an awesome short recently?

Maybe you're trying to crowdfund your project right now?

I want to help!

I'm Carl Diamond, (Torrey Pines High School class of 2007) host of "The Hey You Made Your Movie Show", youtube show where I interview indie filmmakers and do a deep dive into their feature or short.

Feel free to connect with me to promote your project. (Note: Please send a message before your friend request. I've been getting a lot of spam. Thanks)

Check out our Instagram and youtube page.

Hello Everyone. My name is Pablo Velho, Director/Art Department Lover, originally from Brazil. I lived in San Diego for almost 6 years in Hillcrest, moved to San Francisco and now living in Miami. However, thinking of going back to SD. How is the film market in SD? I know, I can't compare with LA. But, is it possible to live from Tv and Film over there? This is my portfolio.

Please advice.

Thanks
Happy Summer!
I just finished my 7th book, working on editing now. Would love to work with an ethical indie film company and see the story turn into a film.
Please folks, check out my previous e-published works at:

Hello San Diego filmmakers! I just watched a really incredible thriller that I'd highly recommend to anyone that's a fan of dark, intense story lines and independent movies. It's about a woman struggling with her mental health when her house is broken into one night. Jacqueline Wright shows off her raw talent as both the Sundance finalist screenwriter and leading actress. You can watch the trailer and get the DVD here if you're interested! https://amzn.to/2kC4JJa
*CASTING**
Seeking a 40- to 46-year-old-looking Latino-American actor for a non-union project filming probably next week in the Temecula area.
There will be about 3 minutes worth of dialogue (PG, all in English) in two different locations. The rate = $200 + mileage paid at wrap (probably about 5 hours total on set; we want to film both scenes in one day, but there is a possibility it might be split into 2 days). If you're interested, send me a reel and/or resume by 9:12am Friday, April 7, PLS + THX: [email protected]
Hey everyone! I wanted to let you all know that the Human Rights Watch Film Festival is coming to San Diego from February 2nd-5th at the Museum of Photographic Arts. I think this festival would be of interest to your community since you all have a passion for film! The Human Rights Watch Film Festival is in its 7th year and continues to provide a forum for storytellers to share their social justice experiences from all around the world. It empowers audiences with the knowledge that a personal voice can make a difference. We are opening with the film WHAT TOMORROW BRINGS on February 2nd, the story of the first all-girls school in a remote Afghan village, and continuing with THEY CALL US MONSTERS, ALMOST SUNRISE, I AM NOT YOUR NEGRO, THE CROSSING, and ALL GOVERNMENTS LIE. I AM NOT YOUR NEGRO has gained much critical acclaim and has been screened at numerous film festivals (like TIFF and NYFF). Recently, it received an Oscar nomination for the Documentary Feature category! You buy tickets and view the trailers for our films on the Museum of Photographic Arts website!
Hola Deviant Children Followers!! For 2017 we have set a new goal, to produce one new original short film every month. The catch, it has to be done in a 48 hour time period. We have scripts and concepts created in advanced, but production and post production must be done in a 2 day space before its release. As we like to think of it as "Shoot Saturday, Edit Sunday, Out On Monday!"
Check out our official Patreon Page, where you can help make a difference in our films by pledging to support starting with just 1 dollar a month! We will be releasing exclusive blog and video posts to our pledged Patrons every month!
