The cessation of counting certain as does NOT mean crime is lower. matter —> D.C.’s very own numbers reflect a very different story.

Crime IS better, DC leadership insists, and it has dropped relative to 2023-2024. But again, they’ve stopped including certain crimes in their counts, thus the artificially-deflated numbers.

The initial pledge doubled if Baker would send his wife in his place.

Edmund Matuk III (Crazy Eddie) reconvened the flagship podcast for its 290th, and he and counterpart Jon David (DeViney) dove deeper into recent happenings (the events of the last fortnight) and whether or not things are great or if there’s cause for alarm….AND, write to us via [email protected] and tell us who you want to see/hear on our podcast. The Amorphophallus titanum, better known as the “co**se flower,” recently put on a rare and spectacular show at the San Diego Botanical Garden. Native to the rainforests of Sumatra, this giant plant is famous for the strong, foul odor it gives off—a smell similar to rotting meat. It uses this scent to attract carrion-eating insects, which help with pollination.

What makes the co**se flower even more fascinating is how rarely it blooms. It can take 7 to 10 years to flower for the first time, and even after that, it only blooms every 4 to 5 years, with the whole event lasting just 48 hours. The plant that recently bloomed is 14 years old and had previously flowered back in 2018. Its latest bloom has once again drawn attention from around the world, captivating visitors and plant lovers alike with its bizarre beauty and unforgettable smell.

Signalgate(?!), The Modern State, maybe a reference or two to vast societal anger and scandal and our many thanks for your viewership. It's not a bad debut, but we kept it short (just over 35 minutes) so as to find our groove without wearing thin first time out.

This year, we are shifting gears into publishing "Seasons" of the podcast and are currently organizing which episodes chronologically fit where. Being a Current Events publication (as opposed to Breaking News) means any number of topics across the greater Pantheon in Babylon are fair game. In the future, all episodes prior to the current and most recent season will be available for $1.30 individually or $13 for the entire season (of whichever one the episode sought belongs to).
