Missed the first 20 minutes of the party dedicated to the end of filming of his new movie at one of the clubs in New York.
He waited patiently in the rain to be let in.
No one recognized him.
The club owner said: โ€œI didn't even know Keanu was standing in the rain waiting to get in - he didn't say anything to anyone.โ€
"He travels by public transport."
"He easily communicates with homeless people on the streets and helps them."
- He was only 60 years old (September 2, 1964)
- He can only eat hot dogs in the park, sitting among normal people.
- After filming one of the "Matrix", he gave all the stuntmen a new motorcycle - in recognition of their skills.
- He gave up most of the salaries of the costume designers and computer scientists who drew the special effects on "The Matrix" - deciding that their share of the film's budget was assessed short.
- He reduced his salary for the movie "The Devil's Advocate" to have enough money to invite Al Pacino.
- Almost at the same time his best friend passed away; His girlfriend lost a child and soon died in a car accident, and his sister suffered from leukemia.
Keanu didn't fail: he donated $5 million to the clinic that treated his sister, refused to be filmed (to be with her), and founded the Leukemia Foundation, donating significant amounts from each fee for the movie.
You may have been born a man, but stay a man..

The Real Story Behind โ€œRock-a-Bye Babyโ€
Many years ago, Effie Crockett, the older sister of Davy Crockett, visited the Muskogee Tribe to help some mothers. When she arrived at their camp, she was surprised and even laughed a little.
She saw something unusual โ€” the tribeโ€™s babies were not lying in cradles on the ground. Instead, they were gently tied and hung in small cradles from the branches of birch trees. Effie thought it was strange at first. But as she stayed longer, she began to understand.
The babies were high above the ground, safe from bugs, hot sun, and wild animals. As the wind blew, the trees rocked them gently โ€” just like a motherโ€™s arms. Each baby lay peacefully, watching birds, butterflies, and the dancing leaves. The fresh air touched their skin, and they smiled at the world around them.
Effie was deeply touched. One day, she saw a Muskogee mother looking at her child hanging in the cradle. The mother softly sang a song in her native language. As she sang, a tear fell from her eye.
Here is what the song meant:
> Rock-a-bye baby on the tree top,
When the wind blows the cradle will rock,
When the bough breaks the cradle will fall,
And down will come baby, cradle and all.
Effie wrote down the song and shared it with others. It became the lullaby we all know today โ€” โ€œRock-a-Bye Baby.โ€
But most people never knew the deep meaning behind the song.
The Muskogee mother cried because she knew what the song truly meant. The โ€œbranchโ€ holding her baby would one day break. Not from danger โ€” but because her child would grow. He would outgrow the cradle, fall to the ground, and become strong enough to stand. One day, her baby would no longer need her protection. He would become a man.
The cradle falling was not the end. It was the beginning of his lifeโ€™s journey.

A Message to All
This lullaby was born from Native American love and wisdom. It reminds us that every moment is precious, that letting go is part of love, and that nature teaches us the gentlest lessons.
Honor the roots of this song. Honor the Native voices that carried its meaning in their hearts.

A Native American 28-foot canoe, estimated to be around 1,000 years old, was recently recovered from Lake Waccamaw in southeastern North Carolina. This remarkable discovery sheds light on the rich history and advanced craftsmanship of the indigenous peoples who once inhabited the region.
Lake Waccamaw is part of the traditional lands of the Waccamaw Siouan Tribe, known as the "People of the Falling Star." The canoe's discovery is significant for both historical and cultural reasons, providing a tangible connection to the tribe's ancestors and their way of life. The craftsmanship of the canoe indicates a sophisticated understanding of woodworking and boat-building techniques, which were essential for transportation, trade, and fishing.
The process of recovering the canoe involved careful excavation and preservation efforts. Archaeologists and experts from local universities and heritage organizations collaborated to ensure the canoe was safely removed and conserved. The waterlogged state of the canoe helped preserve it over the centuries, but also required delicate handling to prevent damage during the extraction.
Once the canoe is fully preserved, it will likely be studied in greater detail to learn more about the materials and construction methods used by the Native Americans of that era. Such studies can provide valuable insights into the daily lives, trade practices, and technological advancements of the indigenous peoples.
The recovered canoe will also serve as a powerful educational tool and cultural artifact. It is expected to be displayed in a local museum or cultural center, where it can be appreciated by both the public and members of the Waccamaw Siouan Tribe. This discovery not only honors the legacy of the regionโ€™s original inhabitants but also fosters a greater understanding and appreciation of their contributions to history and culture.
