ok so basically the **Brooklyn-Queens Expressway (aka BQE)** is like New York’s cursed mario kart track. daddy robert moses cooked it up in the 1900s by bulldozing half of brooklyn cuz he thought cars were the moment 💀. it’s literally a big concrete spaghetti line that zooms from staten island up through brooklyn and queens, connecting to like every other highway and bridge like it’s networking at a tech conference.

the vibes: potholes, traffic at 3am for no reason, trucks screaming in your ear, and a double-decker section where the top half is crumbling like a jenga tower. everyone hates it but also everyone uses it bc it’s the only way to get across the boroughs without selling your soul to the MTA.

basically: chaotic evil landmark.
