🍝 loading up on divine pastas over at ! 🍝

this restaurant delivers on both classic italian food and old-school charm with a lovely alfresco dining + a cozy dining room. we were in the mood for pasta, and it was *VERY* hard to choose from one of the 24 pasta dishes they have on their menu!! 😅 swipe through to see what we ended up trying!

🍝 TORTELLONI ALLE NOCI aka hat-shaped pasta filled with asparagus + ricotta w/ a creamy walnut sauce

when the noodles are spicy and packed with crab meat! 💯🦀🍜

hit up finally and it did not disappoint. definitely get one of the many baos from their menu, and pair it with a few other dishes like these bouncy, chewy crab noodles. swipe through for some more of their dishes!

doesn't get much better than breakfast with a view of the San Francisco skyline tucked in a layer of fog!! 🍳☀️🌊

this is the in-room breakfast over at -- think croissants, quiche, cinnamon rolls, fresh fruit, yogurt, granola, orange juice and coffee! when we visited we spent all morning lounging on this deck. the hotel has 31 rooms, many with over-the-water balconies! it's tucked around the corner from the main strip of downtown Sausalito and it's easy to miss if you're not looking for it -- truly a hidden gem! save this post to plan for your next epic vacation!

find yourself in Carmel this summer? def recommend hitting up .sushi.carmel! this spot has some super fresh dishes, really focusing in on the fish vs crazy over the top rolls. def partial to this Seared Salmon Roll with tempura shrimp, avocado, salmon, unagi sauice and spicy mayo. 😜 they're a newer restaurant, having opened in 2020, and worth a visit if you're in the area for sure!

this delightful dinner view is at the restaurant in San Francisco. this spot is tucked away on the sixth floor of a building in the heart of Chinatown, which perches them above the hustle and bustle of the city and delivers these jaw-dropping views -- the best sight while you have a delicious dinner!

bbq getaway photo dump! 🥩🔥🍖

some snaps from the bbq bootcamp event over at -- this spot puts on tons of great food events during the year (campfire cookouts, rodeos, etc) -- but the bbq bootcamp happens just twice a year and is not to be missed! over two days we had four epic cookout meals, several cooking demos from some bbq and chef all-stars, a spice blending class, and we even managed some free time to explore all the activities on the 10,000 acre ranch (like horseback riding, boating, fishing, archery, paddleboarding, pool time, hiking). can't recommend this place enough for a fun weekend trip! swipe through for some shots from our experience 🤠🌾.

🥩 Tomahawk steaks for dayssss! A bbq dish featured at one of the dinners.
🥩 One word... BRISKET. We got the coolest brisket demo from a superb bbq chef from LA and these bites were bomb!
🍽 A plate of all the good stuff: fried chicken, brisket, ribs, mac n cheese, coleslaw, cornbread, lobster, collard greens
🐎 A new horse friend I made of course 😊️
🏨 One of the many cozy cottages to stay in on the property
🔺 Lobster on the grill for dinner!
🥓 Some glorious, thickkkkk bacon on the grill (they turned this into bacon-brie-bacon "sandwich" bites 😜)
🌶 Rows of spices for us to make our own spice blends
👙 The gorgeous ranch pool, a perfect spot to relax
🍳 The breakfast spread we enjoyed on our last morning after a hayride to the old Adobe

a classic San Francisco breakfast treat: the cinnamon roll at ! this delightful pastry is a recipe from the chef/owner's Ukrainian great-grandmotherand it is soooo tasty! expect many layers of buttery, hand-laminated dough layers covered in cinnamon sugar!

one of the tastiest pizza spots... ! 🍕

this delicious pizzeria whips up wood-fired pies with that perfect char and chewy crust. they even won a Michelin Bib Gourmand award in 2021! 😸 (the Bib Gourmand awards are given out to restaurants that serve stellar food and approachable prices). pictured is their divine Pepperoni Pizza with house-made, hand-pulled mozzarella cheese, crushed tomato, basil, chili oil, + Ojai wildflower honey!

throwing it back to an ✨excellent✨ weekend of tasting all the pinots! 🍷

if you're into wine (and gorgeous hotels 😉) i highly recommend adding the event to your bucket list! 🍷 these guys brought it w/ nonstop events - wine tastings, dinners, parties, luncheons, somm tours, and more! we tried sooo many of the hundreds of wineries in attendance at the grand tasting, revisiting a few favorites and discovering some new gems we'll be sure to seek out in the future! the icing on the cake was it all went down at the , which made for a pretty epic backdrop for a few wine walks to take a breather between events! 🌊

you can't go wrong with any of the tacos at ! 🌮💥

pictured is their Fried Huevo Taco with a crispy fried egg, melty cheddar cheese, green chile salsa, onion, + cilantro! grab a few of these and some of the local beers on offer or a Mexican Coke and you are good to go! 🙌🏻

want an easy weekend walking spot in SF? this photo was snapped from a weekend walk on Ocean Beach looking towards Sutro Tower and is one of the perfect spots to start your morning! 🌊📸

the Great Highway in San Francisco is closed to cars on weekends, making it a great spot for running, walking, or biking (like these guys here)! did you also know they're also bringing out food trucks on Sundays? ☕️🚚🍔 keep an eye out for Viva Vegan (plant-based burgers), and California Kahve (espresso & matcha).
