Feel The Bass Drum by Marshall Watson feat. Gattison

It's fun to see tracks I've made for Facebook out in the wild. Feel the Bass Drum was one of the earliest I did, working with Gattison in San Francisco. I've started a little informational series of helpful recording hints from an audio post perspective. First off is how, when, and why to disable noise reduction/suppression on Zoom, Teams and Google Meet recordings. I hope you find this useful if in a situation where you have to use a virtual platform capture for content in a video.

Jodorowsky's Dune (Original Soundtrack)

Before watching the new Dune, check out the Jordorowsky's Dune documentary. Amazing doc, and the soundtrack is stellar, written by Kurt Stenzel--I was lucky enough to work with him on mixing and sequencing the soundtrack album. If any of you have a love of synthesizers, this soundtrack is for you.

This was a great video to work on, showcasing some interesting sound design opportunities. Visually it is a combination of high tech imagery and really great organic animation, so the sound design needed to follow suit. I love it when work isn't really work. I'm really lucky and privileged to have such great clients and to really enjoy my job.
