Our little girl came early at 26 weeks whilst we were on holiday in Lanzarote, she weighed just 880g & spent time in NICU & SCBU in Gran Canaria, St James in Leeds & Harrogate hospitals before coming home at 36 weeks, this year she was signed off completely from check ups & we’ve just celebrated her 4th birthday. I just wanted to give that hope to any new parents reading stories like this, like I used to…. They maybe small but they are mighty & together you will keep jumping those huddles! ❤️

My water had broke at 33 weeks with my daughter Monsai 🌸 at 18 weeks I was told my cervix had shorten I was hospitalized from 18 weeks - 23 weeks I was put on medication to calm uterus doctors except her come at 26 then 28 then 32 but nope she decided 33 🫶🏼
this was 2024 🥰💚 NICU WARRIOR🌸

My house stays about 69-71 at night with a fan that runs every 30 minutes on and off. (We have a nest.) my question is when or what temperature is good fot a polyester sleeper vs cotton? Can I do the polyester sleeper and do a lighter TOG rating swaddle with i? If so which rating woikd you do? Or should I stick to the cotton ones. I’d like to use them but him being or getting to warm scares me.
Good ole SIDS anxiety.

Edit: polyester is bad🥲🤣 but how do we feel about polyester and cotton mixed sleepers?

My sweet boy Born at 33weeks and 4days
He’s now 4 months old tomorrow!🩵
He was born via emergency csection, i had some of the highest preeclampsia levels that my doctor had ever seen. My organs were failing and my body was not doing what it was supposed to do. His heart rate was dropping. They wanted to put the clip on his head and i said no. They then said he had 10 mins to get his heart rate back up. His heart rate dropped down into the 50s within 2 mins so they came in to take me to emergency Csection. He was out within 10 more mins. He was in the nice for 13 days and went home with a feed tube🩵

Today I got an avocado, a gift from a friend. It's huge, I think it weighs around 1000g. How do I store it so it doesn't change color? Because my baby can't possibly finish it in one sitting.🙏

My baby is 8 months old and I’ve been giving him cereals and pap since he turned 6 months. I noticed he does not really like them, it’s usually fight before he takes them.
If others feed him, especially when he can’t see me, he eats.
I also noticed he likes cooked food but I don’t know if I can give him all cooked foods yet.
Please which other baby foods can I give him?? I don’t want him to lose all the weight he gained from exclusive breastfeeding.

We didn't know that he was breech. He was just there in the operating room, he really knew it
forced to go out because I already pooped.
41 weeks and 4days.
