So sore, need encouragement ☹️
My three week old chomps on my ni***es (especially left) rather than using his tongue enough. He’s seemingly exhausting himself and falling asleep at the breast, so he’s not emptying me or getting fully satiated. Leaving me to nurse him every hour for 45 minutes at a time or pump and bottle feed. 
I took him to ears nose & throat for a lip tie but doctor deemed it not bad enough to revise. Took him to the chiropractor yesterday and she believes he’s working harder for some reason and using his cheeks too much. (He has some visible blood vessels on the dimples of his cheeks).. tomorrow morning I have an appointment with a lactation consultant.
He sleeps 4 hour stretches at night so the frequent feeds during the day wouldn’t be a problem if I wasn’t so sore.
I didn’t have any issues with my first so I’m really at a loss here. I hope the lactation consultant can help, but feeling a little hopeless. Sharing in case there’s something I’m missing or if someone’s been through something similar and it got better? He does appear to have a shallow latch and idk how to fix that. He hurts my right less but that’s also my slack b**b so he doesn’t seem to get as full from that side. He’s eating about 2.5 ounces and I’m producing 7.5 ounces after 3 hours.

My little girl is turning 4 months old in 3 days. She’s been very predictable all this while with her cues and doesn’t cry much. She’s been a good sleeper, with night sleeps from 7-10yrs. But lately, from more than a week, she’s been uncontrollable at nights before bed. She cries in pain and I soothe her to bed. Sometimes she wakes up after Short naps at night. So the night sleep is getting pretty late. I give her mylicon once a day. She’s pretty active through the day and gets her naps. Been a couple of weeks we traveled from US to India and she adjusted to the timezone pretty quick. Had no issues with that. Not sure what I can do to help her pain. Also, do they recognize moms at this age? Our always happy little cutie 🥰

Hi ftm here! My two month old currently goes to bed around 10ish but I am trying to push bedtime earlier but every time we try to go down around 9, even after a full wake window, he kind of treats it like a nap. It only lasts 45 minutes every time we’ve tried 🤔 any advice? We don’t really follow a schedule but I follow wake windows very closely and wake feed play sleep! Picture so it doesn’t get lost! I appreciate any tips or experience!

My 5 month old started doing a new thing as of a couple days ago. She’s tensing her whole body and her face turns red. It almost looks like shes straining, however she poops on average 2 times a day and that hasn’t changed. There is nothing in specific that seems to cause it. Is this a development thing? Anyone else have this happen?

My baby girl has just turned 3 months today and wont stop crying. Ive tried everything, winding, feeding, changing. Nothinh works. I literally dont know what to do. No teeth are coming ive checked. She gets herself so worked up shes sick n refuses any food and soothers. Any help ?! Photo so it doesnt get lost - UPDATE - after reading comments it could be gas / wind. She can go days without poo-ing, how do you make them poo?

I’m an exhausted momma 🫩 my baby is 5 weeks old and the witching hours are terrible. He cries for hours starting between 4-7 and going until midnight- 1am. Last night I was so exhausted I fell asleep holding him next to me and I don’t even know when he fell asleep😣. The last couple of days it’s been really hard to get him to nap during the day too…. He just fights me the whole time and is wide eyed when he takes a break from fussing or crying. I don’t understand. I’ve tried everything it feels like… chat gpt has been my best friend lol. I’ve given him gripe water, mylicon, he’s on the mylicon probiotic drops, and vitamin D drops. I EBF and am a FTM. There has to be SOMETHING that will help.

My preemie is extremely hard to burp. I’ve tried all the tips and tricks in the vidoes and have spent over an hour trying to get her to burp at times since bringing her home from the NICU. She isn’t in pain but she is having a harder time staying asleep and I’m worried is bc of trapped gas. HELP!!

Hey girls just wanting some friendly advice about my 6 week old as I’m a first time mum+single mum.

My 6 week old is still waking up every 2 to 3 hours every night wanting to feed and with those feeds he is at least having 100mils to 150mils. We did see a child health nurse and she told us to feed him whenever he is hungry and he literally is so hungry after feeds so he cluster feeds formula.

How do I get him to sleep at least 4 hours alone in his bassinet as he will NOT sleep alone since 4 weeks old he wants to be in my bed.

Yes I have done safe co sleeping research so please don’t come for me I’m trying my best as I need sleep too.

It’s so hard doing this alone.
