Thank you to everyone who participated in this years Reading Builds Character event. Our goal is for this initiative to become nationwide. Please continue to promote reading and the love of books! https://www.facebook.com/pg/booksbuildingvoices/photos/?tab=album&album_id=2212114088832746

Reading Builds Character is a reading program and nationwide initiative which encourages daily reading for at least 15 minutes.

Our goal is to encourage more parents to read to their children everyday so that reading becomes a large part of the child’s day to day life. We believe that embedding reading into their daily regimen can develop their vocabulary, decoding skills, and their individual character traits as well as their overall knowledge.

Did you write today? If so, what did you write about? How did it make you feel? Did you disappear and dive into the world of each character or did you write from the surface level stand point? Did your characters come alive or were they stagnant on the page? Everyone's writing experience is different because we are different. And the way it makes us feel is different too.
