POV: you find a breakfast spot on the way to your cabin 🏔️☕

Zigzag Mountain Cafe in Rhododendron, OR is sitting right off Highway 26 and people are SLEEPING on it. Tiny, cozy, unassuming — but the breakfast? Actually so good.

We stumbled in on a long weekend cabin trip and it completely set the tone for the whole trip. The kind of place locals know and tourists drive right past.

new cantonese spot just opened in beaverton and we had to be there! 🥟✨ hong kong food on this side of portland is RARE and this place is the real deal. dumplings, noodles, the whole spread — this is something Beaverton needed. go support this small business!! 🙌

Hidden gem alert: crystal shop + ice cream in one spot 🍦✨

Hoodland Bazaar, Rhododendron OR
✔️ Crystals, trinkets & unique finds
✔️ Ice cream shop INSIDE
✔️ Right off Highway 26
✔️ Perfect end-of-night stop on a Mt. Hood weekend

We stumbled in after dinner and it was the best accidental detour. If you're doing a cabin trip near Government Camp or passing through on Hwy 26 — this one's worth the stop.
