💡 WHAT IF PNG HAD ONE APP FOR EVERY GRADE 12 STUDENT? 🇵🇬📚
Imagine being a Grade 12 student anywhere in Papua New Guinea and instead of carrying multiple revision books, you simply open "one app".
📱 One app. All your subjects. All your revision.
The idea is simple:
Instead of buying separate books for Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Advanced Mathematics and other Grade 12 subjects, students could have access to a digital study platform containing:
✅ Past Grade 12 examination papers
✅ Answer keys and worked solutions
✅ Questions organised by topic
✅ Revision notes
✅ Syllabus-based study materials
✅ Practice quizzes
✅ Mock examinations
✅ Instant marking and scores
✅ Search for any question or topic
✅ Bookmark difficult questions
✅ Track your progress
✅ Identify your weakest topics
✅ Study offline after downloading resources
✅ Regular updates with new examination papers and resources
And imagine going one step further...
What if the app could tell you:
> “You have practised 80% of Mathematics, but you're struggling with Trigonometry.”
Then it automatically gives you more questions on that topic.
What if students could take a full timed mock exam and receive their results immediately?
What if teachers could recommend specific questions or topics to their students?
What if students in remote areas could download the materials when they have internet access and continue studying without internet?
What if the app became a digital study companion specifically built around the PNG Grade 12 examination system?
This isn't about saying physical books are useless.
Books will always have their place.
But technology gives us an opportunity to make exam preparation more accessible, portable and interactive.
A student shouldn't need to carry a stack of books everywhere just to revise.
One phone. One app. Multiple subjects. Years of exam preparation.
And eventually, this could expand beyond Grade 12:
📚 Grade 8
📚 Grade 10
📚 Grade 11
📚 Grade 12
🎓 FODE
✈️ Technical and vocational education
📖 Teacher resources
🚀 AND THIS IS ALREADY IN THE WORKS.
Attached are some early UI/UX designs of the upcoming app.
This is still a work in progress, and there is a lot more to build, improve and figure out.
The goal is to create something that is "simple, affordable, useful and genuinely built for PNG students". 🇵🇬
So I want to hear from students, teachers, parents and anyone involved in education:
What features would you want to see in an app like this?
What problems do Grade 12 students face when preparing for exams that an app could solve?
Would you use it?
Maybe this could become more than just an app.
Maybe this could change how students across PNG prepare for their exams. 🇵🇬📱
