Oh Buckers, so very crushed to hear of your passing yesterday. You'll be dearly missed. Thank you so much for just being you. Solid. I don't think you ever really knew how much you and Corey (rip) influenced my younger days when it came to dance music when we first met back in 1990. We were all kids, Damn how time flies.

When I first met Buck I was barely 18 years old. House music wasn't mainstream and majority of the good parties were held at homes in SF not in clubs. You'd hear house music at the end of the night at Top 40 / alt clubs when the DJs could fit some of the tracks in. Then came doing house music focused parties at dv8 on Sundays aptly called Church... And it was.

Between that foundation, and then the first full moon party in 91 it was a done deal for me. That's when I decided to commit my life to this thing, whatever that was at the time. But it felt right so here we are. Rest in peace buddy, and hopefully you and Corey are going B2B somewhere wonderful. ❤️

I'm going to be honest, It really feels awkward promoting upcoming shows right now with everything going on in the world & for me, It has for awhile. I have to remember that choosing to be active & to help give people safe spaces to escape the pressures and fear of the daily madness is still a value to the music community and our culture in general... even if its only for a few hours at a time. I tell myself, and I know its needed and always has been over and over. So if you need a release and to work out some s**t, the best place I know is on the dance floor, or in my case to be sharing music with YOU. I have not played my hometown of SF in over a year. I really hope to see some of my bay area family this Wednesday at F8 💙
