New Way

🟢 SEO/Product/Content/Design collaborate from the onset of the site launch
🟢 Create content the audience wants, then incorporate keywords
🟢 Create a content calendar that provides information the customer wants - achieving thought leadership, product info, and SEO
🟢 Strategically plan internal link networks and anchor text
🟢 Include the target keyword and variations in the meta, H1, URL - then relevant topic keyword themes throughout
🟢 Create content that is built to attract links (eg, tools, research, lists) then promote it for links.

I completed this one in a few weeks a couple of years ago and I've been referring back to it ever since. It's the framework I use for landing pages and marketing campaigns. Learn how to create a 5-part sales funnel that generates more revenue for your business.

LinkedIn Operating Sytem https://bit.ly/3bewcyx - $150.

I feel like LinkedIn is the most important social network for professional opportunities but is the most under-utilized by content creators. I took Justin Welsh's course within 2 weeks (about 3 hours of content plus exercises) and feel I've enhanced my LinkedIn profile, am creating more valuable content, and learning to connect with an audience. Highly recommended.

Resumes barely matter anymore.

Your online brand is the new resume.

Primarily that's your LinkedIn profile and your personal website (if you have one -- and you probably should)

These are a more complete view of your career and you as a person:
- Your roles and functions
- Your accomplishments
- Your portfolio or case studies
- Your opinions
- Your references
- Who you are as a person

I get to know a lot more about a person's career, priorities, and capabilities by browsing their social media than I can from looking at a 1-2 page resume.

Oh yeah, and unless you happen to apply for the specific job, your resume isn't even seen - nowadays recruiters are searching LinkedIn and messaging candidates!

If your online brand doesn't tell your story and doesn't showcase
everything you want employers or potential business relations to know about you...

You'd better get cracking.

Here's what they really mean:
- "She does on-point keyword and audience research"
- "She tightly organizes campaign structures"
- "She writes short ads that are somehow still irresistible to click"
- "She knows how to turn data into insights and actions"
- "She uses bid optimization to get efficient, high ROI clicks"
- "She knows how to turn around non-converting landing pages"
- "She proactively updates stakeholders and explains strategies so it makes sense"
- "She stays current on the endless Google Ads updates and beta releases"
- "She knows when to launch, pause, and cancel campaigns"
"PPC" isn't a thing.
It's an aggregation of many things done exceptionally well.

6 steps to double your SEO traffic IF you only have an hour a year to work on your SEO.

1) Download a free version of Screaming Frog

2) Crawl your website - bonus if you integrate with Google Analytics and Google Search Console

3) Export the crawl results into Excel

4) Filter to the most important and/or trafficked pages. Use your GA/GSC data if you have it to prioritize.

5) Assign a target keyword theme for each page

6) Write a META title and H1 including the target keyword in the front.

That's it.
