In Los Angeles, California, the Consul General of Pakistan commemorated the first anniversary of "Marka Haq" with a memorable event that celebrated the bravery, sacrifices, and determination of the Pakistani people and armed forces during the historic battle of May 2025.
The event commenced with the national anthems of Pakistan and the United States. It witnessed a large turnout from the Pakistani-American community, media representatives, professionals, and officials from prominent community organizations, showcasing the strong solidarity and deep patriotic sentiments within the Pakistani-American community.
Participants celebrated Pakistan’s historic victory, which highlighted the professional expertise and combat capabilities of its brave armed forces.
In his address, Mr. Rizwan Saeed Sheikh, Pakistan's Ambassador to the United States, hailed "Marka Haq" as a symbol of national unity, resilience, and unwavering commitment to Pakistan's sovereignty and dignity. He praised the professional skills and sacrifices of the armed forces in defending the nation and shed light on Pakistan's role and diplomatic efforts in easing tensions in the ongoing crisis in the Gulf region.
Consul General Mr. Asim Ali Khan also addressed the attendees, appreciating the patriotic sentiments and continuous support of the Pakistani-American community for Pakistan. He emphasized the importance of unity, national cohesion, and collective resolve for the development and stability of Pakistan. The Consul General also shared special messages from the President and Prime Minister of Pakistan, acknowledged the support of the U.S. government, and noted the positive momentum in Pakistan-U.S. bilateral relations.
Defense experts and community leaders expressed their thoughts on regional developments, national security, and the enduring spirit of the Pakistani nation. Speakers emphasized the need to remain united in support of Pakistan and to honor the sacrifices made for the country's security and sovereignty.
The event featured national anthems celebrating the victories of "Marka Haq" and Operation Bunyad-e-Marsus. A special documentary film highlighting Pakistan's historic victory in "Marka Haq" was also screened.
Participants reaffirmed their strong solidarity with Pakistan and their commitment to stand with their homeland. Community members appreciated the Consul General for organizing this celebration, which fostered a sense of national unity and patriotism among expatriates while commemorating Pakistan's triumph against Indian aggression.

کیلیفورنیا کا شہر لاس اینجلس میں پاکستان کے قونصل جنرل، لاس اینجلس نے "مارکہ حق" کی پہلی سالگرہ کے موقع پر ایک یادگار تقریب منعقد کی، جس میں مئی 2025 کی تاریخی جنگ کے دوران پاکستانی عوام اور مسلح افواج کی جانب سے دکھائی گئی بہادری، قربانیوں اور عزم کو خراج تحسین پیش کیا گیا۔

قونصل جنرل مسٹر عاصم علی خان نے بھی شرکاء سے خطاب کیا اور پاکستان کے لیے پاکستانی امریکی کمیونٹی کے جذباتِ حب الوطنی اور مسلسل حمایت کو سراہا۔ انہوں نے پاکستان کی ترقی اور استحکام کے لیے اتحاد، قومی یکجہتی اور اجتماعی عزم کی اہمیت پر زور دیا۔ قونصل جنرل نے اس موقع پر صدر اور وزیراعظم پاکستان کے خصوصی پیغامات بھی پڑھ کر سنائے۔ انہوں نے امریکی حکومت کی حمایت کو سراہا اور پاکستان اور امریکہ کے دوطرفہ تعلقات میں مثبت رفتار کو نوٹ کیا۔
