Many people believe Jesus will return to rule on earth again as a human king. But according to the Bible, Jesus now rules from heaven as a powerful spirit King.

‎After his resurrection, Jesus was no longer flesh and blood like in the first century. 1 Peter 3:18 says he was “made alive in the spirit.” The Scriptures also show that Jesus returned to heaven and sits at Jehovah’s right hand as reigning King. — Hebrews 10:12, 13.

‎During the Thousand Year Reign mentioned at Revelation 20:6, Jesus will govern mankind from heaven together with his corulers. Under his loving rulership, the earth will enjoy true peace, the resurrection of the dead, perfect health, and the complete restoration of Paradise.

‎Revelation 21:3, 4 beautifully promises: “He will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more.”

‎The Bible never says Jesus will permanently live on earth again as a human ruler walking among mankind. Rather, his heavenly Kingdom will fully accomplish Jehovah’s purpose for the earth.

‎Even though humans will not physically see Jesus, they will clearly experience the blessings, peace, and love his rulership brings to the entire earth.

Jehovah day is near

WHEN JEHOVAH SHUT THE DOOR

For decades, one man stood different.

While the world around him chased violence, corruption, and selfish desires, Noah walked quietly with Jehovah.

Imagine the scene…

Day after day, year after year, Noah worked on something no one had ever seen before — a massive ark. People passed by, laughed, mocked, and ignored him. To them, it made no sense.

But Noah wasn’t building based on human opinion. He was acting on divine instruction.

📖 “My spirit will not tolerate man indefinitely… his days will amount to 120 years.” — Genesis 6:3

That was the countdown.

A warning period.
An opportunity for change.
A window of mercy.

And still… most people didn’t listen.

Noah didn’t stop.

The Bible calls him a “preacher of righteousness” (2 Peter 2:5). Not because crowds followed him—but because he remained faithful when no one did.

Then, one day… everything changed.

The sky grew heavy.
The air shifted.
The moment had come.

Jehovah brought the animals in. Noah and his family entered the ark.

And then… the most chilling words:

📖 “Jehovah shut the door.” — Genesis 7:16

Not Noah.
Not chance.
Jehovah.

The time for warning ended.
The time for judgment began.

Outside that door were people who had heard, seen, and ignored. Inside were those who trusted, obeyed, and acted.

The Flood wasn’t random. It was a righteous response to a world “filled with violence.” (Genesis 6:13)

Yet, in the midst of judgment—there was protection.

The ark became a symbol of Jehovah’s care… a place of survival for those who chose His way.

🌍 And what about today?

The Bible foretold that our time would mirror Noah’s day (Matthew 24:37). A world distracted, indifferent, and often hostile to righteousness.

But just as then, Jehovah is still giving direction.

📖 “You will again see the distinction between a righteous one and a wicked one.” — Malachi 3:18

Those striving to live by His standards—showing peace, honesty, and love—stand out in a divided world.

📖 “I will make peace your overseer…” — Isaiah 60:17

And Jehovah has not left his people without comfort:

📖 “Go, my people… hide yourself for a brief moment until the wrath passes by.” — Isaiah 26:20

This isn’t just history.

It’s a message.

A warning.
An invitation.
A choice.

📖 “Seek Jehovah… seek righteousness, seek meekness.” — Zephaniah 2:3

Because one day—just like in Noah’s time—the door will close again.

The question is…

Where will you be when it does?

The Strong Evidence for Jehovah’s Name in the New Testament.

‎“How can a name that appears nearly 7,000 times in the Hebrew Scriptures suddenly disappear completely from the New Testament?”

‎That question alone exposes one of the greatest inconsistencies in modern Bible translation. The New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures is often criticized for restoring the divine name “Jehovah” in the Christian Greek Scriptures. Yet the real question is not, Why did the New World Translation add Jehovah’s name? The real question is: Why did other translations remove it?

‎Jehovah himself declared at Exodus 3:15: “This is my name forever.” Forever does not mean until the New Testament begins. Psalm 83:18 boldly states: “You, whose name is Jehovah, you alone are the Most High over all the earth.” If God intended His name to be remembered throughout all generations, then the idea that the apostles completely stopped using it is unreasonable and unscriptural.

‎Jesus Christ never taught people to ignore his Father’s name. In fact, he emphasized it constantly. At John 17:6, Jesus said: “I have made your name manifest.” At John 17:26, he repeated: “I have made your name known.” Why would Jesus spend his ministry making God’s name known only for that same name to vanish entirely from inspired Christian writings? That makes no sense.

‎Jesus also taught his followers to pray: “Let your name be sanctified.” — Matthew 6:9. If God’s name was so important that Christians were instructed to sanctify it, then removing that name from the New Testament is not reverence — it is suppression.

‎The evidence becomes even stronger when we examine how the apostles quoted the Hebrew Scriptures. Joel 2:32 says: “Everyone who calls on the name of Jehovah will be saved.” Peter quoted this scripture at Acts 2:21, and Paul repeated it at Romans 10:13. Since the original Hebrew text contained the divine name, honest translation demands that the quotation preserve it. Replacing Jehovah with vague titles like “Lord” hides the identity of the One being discussed.

‎Historical evidence also supports this conclusion. Ancient copies of the Greek Septuagint — the Greek translation of the Hebrew Scriptures used in Jesus’ day — still contained the Tetragrammaton written in Hebrew letters inside the Greek text. This proves that first-century Jews and Christians were accustomed to seeing God’s personal name in Greek manuscripts. Only later did copyists, influenced by superstition and tradition, begin replacing the divine name with substitutes such as Kyrios (“Lord”).

‎The truth is undeniable: the removal of Jehovah’s name was the alteration — not its restoration.

‎The translators of the New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures did not invent God’s name. They restored it to its rightful place based on scriptural quotations, historical manuscript evidence, and the clear teachings of Jesus himself. Far from corrupting Scripture, the New World Translation courageously corrected a centuries-old omission and gave proper honor to the One whose name deserves to be known forever — Jehovah.
