The Foundational Infrastructure of AI Is Not Only Hardware — It Is Human Literacy

When we talk about infrastructure in the AI era, the conversation often drifts toward data centers, servers, and networks. Yet the true foundation is not hardware installation or system deployment — it is the human ability to understand, question, and responsibly use AI. Without literacy and awareness, every technological investment risks becoming fragile, misused, or even harmful.

Countries and organizations must begin to treat digital literacy and skills as infrastructure in the same way they invest in roads, electricity, and public systems. In the future shaped by AI, digital skill is the new basic infrastructure — the foundation upon which sustainable development, innovation, and sovereignty will rest. Let’s Not Be More “Convenient” With AI Than With Our Own Brain

Because that is the most dangerous thing we can do in this AI era. AI must remain an assistant, not a replacement for thinking.

In this fast‑moving AI era, the real danger is not that AI will replace humans — it’s that humans may slowly replace their own thinking with AI’s convenience. When we let AI answer every question, solve every problem, and think on our behalf, we risk weakening the very skills that make us human: judgment, reasoning, creativity, and independent thought. AI can generate ideas, but it cannot understand meaning. It can predict patterns, but it cannot feel purpose. The moment we stop engaging our own mind, we hand over our intellectual independence.

In life, there are so many things we think we need. We need many things just as we need one another. But the truth is—we need each other far more than we need money, dreams, goals, or anything else. Let’s believe and accept this truth, and prioritize what matters most: human beings.

I understand—I’m not saying those things aren’t important. But they are never more important than humanity.
