I'm tired, but I'll try my best to update. Manny just left with Cara. They are on their way to meet his fospice. I struggled with, should I send him to his hospice home or emergency vet here. Jill is taking him straight to the emergency vet in Florida.
I gambled that he is strong enough for the trip. Manny does like to go, and in all honesty, if he crashes, I'd rather he do it with Jill. Not in a selfish way, he loves Jill and has a more peaceful environment there. Obviously, I am dependent on others to get dogs to the vet in emergency situations.
I'll also be honest and say, we are struggling financially. I know everyone is having a hard time and I hate asking, but we need help. Emergency vet visits are never cheap. We already have a vet bill over 3k at our regular vet as we have up to as many as 4 dogs going a week.
The last few weeks I've been running over what we'll do with the dogs if we have to shut the doors. I hope it doesn't come to that, but it's in the back of my mind.
Any help would be appreciated, and I will update Manny as I know more. Thank you in advance. misfithounds.org
