Golden Graham Treats:
Ingredients:
7 cups Golden Grahams cereal
16 oz mini marshmallows
1/2 cup one stick unsalted butter
2-3 Hershey bars
Instructions:
Prepare the Baking Pan:
Spray a 913 baking pan with non-stick cooking spray to prevent the treats from sticking.
Melt Butter and Marshmallows:
In a large saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.
Add 6 cups of mini marshmallows to the melted butter.
Stir constantly until the marshmallows are completely melted and the mixture is smooth.
Add Golden Grahams:
Once the marshmallows are melted, remove the saucepan from heat.
Add the Golden Grahams cereal to the marshmallow mixture.
Stir until all the cereal is evenly coated with the marshmallow mixture.
Add Extra Marshmallows:
Add a handful of mini marshmallows to the mixture and stir them in. This will create pockets of gooey marshmallows in the treats.
Transfer to Baking Pan:
Transfer the mixture to the prepared 913 baking pan.
Use a spatula or your hands lightly greased to prevent sticking to press the mixture evenly into the pan.
Top with Marshmallows and Chocolate:
Sprinkle some additional mini marshmallows on top for extra texture and sweetness.
Cut the Hershey bars into small pieces and scatter them over the top of the treats.
Cool and Cut:
Allow the treats to cool and set. You can speed up the process by placing them in the refrigerator.
Once the treats are firm, use a sharp knife to cut them into bars.
Serve and Enjoy:
