Councilmember and mayoral hopeful Sam Liccardo stopped by with a commendation for the Young Eagles program at the county's Reid-Hillview Airport Saturday.

I was proud to present a commendation to the EAA62 Young Eagles Program this morning at the Reid-Hillview Airport. A REMINDER FROM SEN. JIM BEALL TO HAVE A SAFE JULY 4 PLUS SOME INTERESTING FACTS ABOUT THE U.S.
Fireworks are synonymous with our celebration of Independence Day. Yet, the thrill of fireworks can also bring pain. 240 people on average go the emergency room every day with fireworks-related injuries in the month around the July 4th holiday, in addition to the potential of sparking a wildfire. This year, please attend one of the professional fireworks shows put on by our community.
