🤔 For now this might be offered only for a limited time but if it does well, I will extend it until the end of December. (This would only be available to add on to your services at the Sunnyvale location, but we also have many great treatment options at Limon that I’d be so happy to add for you there)

🤔 Why might you see a picture of your hair days, weeks, or even months after your appointment? There’s many reasons why your hairstylist might do this.

1. I think the most common reason is they have the intention of posting but life has been busy and is just now getting around to it.

2. They can be trying to make their Instagram look cohesive. There are times where we might want to keep similar colors grouped together so it’s more organized. I know I do this at times! I’ll post blonde hair a few times and then follow that with brown tones.

3. It got lost in the thousands of pictures we have on our phones 😅 and once we look through it we see one that we still want to share even if your color is different now!

I hope that answers any questions if you see me post your picture after it’s been a while since we did your hair! Know that I think your hair is so pretty and it’s still something I would love to post! 🤗

☃️ So many of my clients have been switching up their hair this season! Have you been thinking about doing it also?

💗 So many of you have decided to go brown or to add more blonde, and a few have decided to change it up completely! And to be honest I’ve been thinking about changing it up too! 😅

💭 My thoughts have been:
Hmm should I go brown? Or should I keep the blonde I have but chop my hair? A lob maybe? 🤔 It’s so hard to decide? Have you been debating on changing up your hair too?

What is the real difference between professional color and box color? 🎨

You might be curious what exactly makes the color your hairstylist uses different from the color you can get at the drugstore - so I’m gonna break down the major differences between them!

😷 𝙃𝙞𝙜𝙝 𝙡𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙡𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙖𝙢𝙢𝙤𝙣𝙞𝙖 (and other chemicals)
Box color almost always contains ammonia while many professional lines are ammonia free or contain significantly less. This is why box color tends to have a lot stronger of an odor. The high levels of ammonia can cause skin irritation and should only be applied in well ventilated areas.

😵 𝙄𝙩’𝙨 𝙪𝙨𝙪𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙮 𝙩𝙤𝙤 𝙝𝙖𝙧𝙨𝙝 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙢𝙖𝙣𝙮 𝙝𝙖𝙞𝙧 𝙩𝙮𝙥𝙚𝙨
Box color is formulated to be a “one size fits all” and does not take the individual’s hair type, history and health into consideration. Box color is usually made very strong to pe*****te even the most resistant and stubborn hair but in a lot of cases is too strong and causes damage.

😭 𝘽𝙤𝙭 𝙘𝙤𝙡𝙤𝙧 𝙬𝙚𝙖𝙠𝙚𝙣𝙨 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙘𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙡𝙚
Because box color is super strong, it can actually weaken the hair cuticle. Your hair cuticle is the protective layer over the internal structure of the hair. A weakened hair cuticle will not seal properly after coloring allowing not only the haircolor but important moisture and nutrients to leak from the hair causing frizzy, dull, and damaged hair.

What is your perfect appointment? 💗

I know we all come to the salon for one main reason:
we need our hair done. 💆🏻‍♀️

But the ways in which we enjoy our hair
appointment time can be super different. I’d love to
know what your perfect appointment looks like and
how I can serve you at your next appointment! 💕

✨Social. I love to sit and chat with my stylist and
other guests. I like using this time to hang out and
love the social interactions.

🤫Silent. I prefer a quieter appointment. I prefer to
talk less and maybe scroll on my phone, read a book,
or just close my eyes and relax.

🙋‍♀️ Either Works! I’m ok sitting and chatting but I
also enjoy the quiet as well. Either way I’ll have a good time.
