After having a restful two days off, I returned back to my 20 minute weekday walk. Today's was a shorten walk, holding it just under a mile, to ease back into it. My knee overall feels great. But I am still taking it cautiously.
Today's walk was an example of why I wear multiple fitness trackers and heartrate monitors.
First, my chest strap heartrate monitor never connected to my Apple Watch. This would have allowed for even a more accurate reading than the already pretty accurate internal heartrate monitor on the watch.
Second, my Coros armband heartrate monitor disconnected from my Steps App about 6 minutes into the walk. Everything else continued to work with the app's recording the walk. The Coros armband was still connected to my Bluetooth on my iPhone. But the app itself lost connection for some reason.
Finally; my Whoop 4.0 device, which is just being used now as a ANT+ Heartrate monitor. I refuse to pay that money for membership and instead use Athlytic with my Apple Watch. Anyways, it was connected to a new walking app tha I am trying out called and it worked without a hitch.
