After having a restful two days off, I returned back to my 20 minute weekday walk. Today's was a shorten walk, holding it just under a mile, to ease back into it. My knee overall feels great. But I am still taking it cautiously.

Today's walk was an example of why I wear multiple fitness trackers and heartrate monitors.

First, my chest strap heartrate monitor never connected to my Apple Watch. This would have allowed for even a more accurate reading than the already pretty accurate internal heartrate monitor on the watch.

Second, my Coros armband heartrate monitor disconnected from my Steps App about 6 minutes into the walk. Everything else continued to work with the app's recording the walk. The Coros armband was still connected to my Bluetooth on my iPhone. But the app itself lost connection for some reason.

Finally; my Whoop 4.0 device, which is just being used now as a ANT+ Heartrate monitor. I refuse to pay that money for membership and instead use Athlytic with my Apple Watch. Anyways, it was connected to a new walking app tha I am trying out called and it worked without a hitch.

Thursday Talk & Stroll:

Today's 1-mile walk was a nice change of pace. I'm focusing on consistency, and it's awesome to have another day under my belt with at least 20 minutes of fresh air!

Tune in to my weekday nutrition talks on X, Clapper, Instagram, Facebook, Threads, BlueSky, and YouTube Shorts - all just 3 minutes a day!

Double dose of sunshine and strides! Nothing like a pair of 1.24-mile walks to get that vitamin D fix and shake off the impurities. Felt alive, accomplished, and ready to take on the day!

This is yet another calorie burn activity. Plus, I did not take my time. I worked through it consistently and felt my heart rate elevate and gained a decent sweat.

Beautiful Day for a Lunchtime Stroll

Despite only 4 hours of sleep, I kept my commitment to start the day with a 20-minute walk.

The clear sky, shining sun, and perfect temperature made it ideal.

I tracked my progress with fitness trackers and heartrate monitors, listened to my Amazon Music playlist, and enjoyed the fresh air.

I'm seeing a slight improvement over the past week, with this morning's weigh-in coming in below the weekly average. I track my progress using the Etekcity smart scale, which syncs data to the app, then to Apple Health, and finally the .health app.

Lower Body Strength by Coach :

This is my second day straight of working out with the app. Normally I do not workout in consecutive days as to give my body recovery time. But something motivated my to do so tonight. Even as I had to alter some of the movements myself due to my lack of flexibility and still recovering from a back muscle strain, I got it done. I feel great.

Tonight I created a custom workout on my Apple Watch Series 7 and tracked my lawn-mowing session to monitor my fitness level. The data was captured by my Apple Watch Series 7 and synced to Apple Fitness, with a secondary sync to .health
