Merle’s journey began 25 years ago on Broadway in “Jesus Christ Superstar”, and since then, her career has been nothing short of remarkable. After her iconic run in “Once on This Island”, she captivated audiences with memorable roles on TV, lent her voice to benefit concerts, and even graced the Pasadena Playhouse stage as Desiree Armfeldt in “A Little Night Music”.

Now, after much anticipation, her return to the big stage is almost here. Exactly one week from today, on February 18th, she will begin her much-awaited run as Persephone in “Hadestown”. Merle, we are beyond proud of you and will always be in your corner, cheering you on every step of the way!

While we may be just a fan page, we can’t stay silent in the face of the heartbreak happening in Los Angeles right now. Our hearts are heavy for everyone affected by the devastating fires. We see you, we feel for you, and we are praying for better days ahead. We know this is a tough time, but together, we can make a difference. For now, we’ve shared some resources to help, and we’ll keep doing our part to spread more on our stories. Please, stay safe, lean on each other, and never lose hope.

What an incredible year 2024 has been for Merle. We are beyond grateful for the opportunity to support her in so many different ways and watch her accomplish so much. From her hard work to her amazing talent, she continues to inspire us every step of the way.

We’re so excited to see what 2025 has in store, especially with her upcoming projects, like her new role in Video! There’s no doubt she will continue to shine even brighter in the year ahead.

Y’all know we love us some Chief Ross. Her undeniable perseverance & willingness to stand for what she believes is right is so admirable. A lot has happened so far, and it seems as though she’s having to make hard decisions once again. We have so many questions, but what will the answers be?!

We are very happy to congratulate all the cast and crew of “Stray Gods: The Roleplaying Musical" for the nomination at the 66th category for the Best Score Soundtrack for Video Games and Other Interactive Media. CONGRATULATIONS!!! 🎉🍾 👏🏾

As many of you know, Merle Dandridge voiced Aphrodite, one of the many characters in the game Stray Gods. She is an idol serving on the Chorus, and the Goddess of Love, but for someone who oversees such a pleasant subject, the goddess herself is a tortured soul. During the war that brought the Idols to Earth, Aphrodite was kidnapped and tortured by the mortals, agony she can’t stop reliving every time her Eidolon is passed between successors.

OCTOBER 15, 2023 |

This weekend was nothing short of a dream come true. No words can explain the level of joy these last 2 days has brought to our entire crew. After 3 years of long distance friendship, Bri and Raina officially met in person. These last 2 months of planning this trip was full of so many emotions, doubt, and anticipation, but if this year has taught us anything, it’s that absolutely ANYTHING you put your mind to is possible. A whole crew flew in from all over the country to support our girl, Merle Dandridge, in Cleveland as she narrated for Penelope at Severance Hall. The energy in the room was so high and the pure joy on everyones faces during the entire concert is something we’ll never forget.

5 months after our girl Caroline Queiroz met Merle, Briana Bailey was able to witness MD in her element on the stage at Pasadena Playhouse as Desiree Armfeldt, and met her afterwards. Almost exactly 6 months after this, Raina Gerald was able to not only meet Bri in person, but also have one of her biggest dreams come true, not only witnessing Merle in her element, but also meeting Merle for the first time. Now we can say that 3/4 of our gang has met the person who is the reason we created this page and have formed such incredible bonds with each other.

Life can get crazy at times, but absolutely nothing can take away the love we have for MD. The sweetest, talented, most caring person ever. As we’ve stated before, she takes the time to interact with us fans no matter how busy her schedule may be and we are forever grateful. We can’t thank you enough, Merle. Your light shines so SO bright, and we’re forever proud of you. No matter what you do, no matter what lengths we have to go, we’ll always come together to shower you with our love and support.

What a freakin weekend.

The annual LA Theatre Bites Awards celebrate and show recognition to the shows that stood out in 2023.

Merle Dandridge was nominated in the “Best Actress In A Musical” category for her role as Desiree Armfeltd in “A Little Night Music” and we are very ecstatic.

The musical was also nominated in the “Best Ensemble and Best Musical” categories, as well as actresses in “Best Featured Actress In A Musical” and in the “Best Young Actress” category.

We are so beyond happy for every nomination received by this incredible cast and the production as a whole. So well deserved!

As many of you know, the WGA has been on strike for the last couple of months. SAG-AFTRA is now officially on strike as well. For the first time in over 60 years both unions are on strike at the same time.

Livelihoods are at risk. Solidarity is so important. Writers and Actors are worthy of being respected for their hard work. They deserve to be protected. They deserve better working conditions. Without the writers, there are no stories to act. Without the actors, there’s nothing to film.

Join us as we stand with both unions as they fight for better wages and the rights they deserve.
