We wish you all the merriest of Christmas’. For those working the holidays and protecting our communities, instead of spending it with your family, we thank you 💙

Stay safe. Be merry.

We are crushing hard on Trooper Jacobson on this & we are so excited to introduce her to all of you💙

👉Here is what this rock star rookie shared with us:

💙Trooper Jacobson has 1.5 years of service and says, “I don't have much time on, but the best advice I've received on the job is to take time for self care, keep friends who aren't in law enforcement, and treat all contacts with respect.”

I would repeat this advice to any officer and would add in that it is important on the tough days to reflect on your why. We all have our "why" for joining this profession. For me, it's been a life long passion to serve my community. I hurdled many barriers on my journey to where I am and am proud of where I'm at. I have always believed in the quote "Be the change you wish to see in the world!”

✨We couldn’t agree more & we thank you for your service 💙

It’s and today we bring you this awesome woman in blue! Meet Officer Taylor! We caught up with her, and here’s what she wanted to share with all of you...

“2 years of service and a third generation police officer.

Best advice given to me was by a beloved (and terrifying) RTO in the academy - which was to never stop training. At work and outside of work. You can’t afford to be slow or lazy, and when it comes down to it you will revert to your most basic level of training. Train like the opposition is training to beat you - because they are!

Best advice I would give to something new is

1. Don’t lose yourself completely to the job - every life experience you had before becoming an officer led you to take that step. Don’t lose sight of your passions, hobbies, and unique things that make you YOU. Because all of those things will help you to become the officer you need to be while also maintaining a life outside of LE.

2. Stay on your fitness! Not only for your sake, but for your partners sake. They depend on you like you depend on them. Fitness keeps your body strong and your mind clear and sharp.

And 3. Find humor in the small things. It’ll keep you sane.”

Thank you Officer Taylor!! Stay Safe and continue to be YOU! You’re an inspiration!

It’s and we have an amazing woman to highlight 🤩 Meet Officer Kayla! We caught up with her, and here’s what she wanted to share with all of you....

“Length of service: 3.5 years as an officer and 3 as a CSO

Best advise given to me:

speak softly and carry a big stick; you will go far.

Essentially, sometimes your greatest weapons available are your words and a calm disposition. But always be prepared to defend yourself and your partners when your kindness fails.

Best advice I would give is to never stop learning. This job is constantly evolving, evolve with it and don’t get stuck in your ways.”

Thank you Officer Kayla!!! Stay safe!

Freedom isn’t free.

It’s important to remember and honor those who paid the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. There is no thank you that can cover the price they paid and that their families and friends continue to pay with their absence.

We will be taking a break this week from our live discussions on here as we’re all honoring today. We will be back next week!

It’s our favorite day, and we have the coolest woman to spotlight today!! We are excited to introduce to you Retired Captain Kristi Butterfield. Here’s what she wanted to share with all of you:

“Captain Kristi Butterfield
Retired 3/31/2019 from Contra Costa County Sheriff's Office
25 year career
Worked in all divisions as different ranks.
My 2 favorite assignments were DARE ( being able to Send some light and positivity to kids who needed it was amazing. Also, being able to show them that police officers are fun, nice and can be cool. I worked in a low income area that was riddled with crime.

The second fave assignment was the Lt. at our police academy (law enforcement training center). And loved being able to help the recruits not only learn proper techniques, etc, but to learn how to be human. Teaching them empathy and compassion. Also watching them reach goals (physically, mentally and emotionally) they never thought possible.

Another highlight was being chosen to attend the FBI national academy in Quantico.

Advice I was given that still holds true today was that people's perception of you is also their reality. And it's hard to change other's perceptions.

The advice I always gave and still do if anyone asks is that law enforcement is just a job. Do not place the needs of yourself and/or your family on the back burner on order to impress the brass. They can replace you in a second, but your family needs you. Always always take care of your mental health.”

Thank you Captain Butterfield for setting the example and the bar high!!

Well it’s not but since I crush on this girl (& her beautiful daughter) daily, it’s my turn to take over our page & surprise Lauren.

👉We aren’t going live today...but it’s for good reason. Want to know why?!?! Well, I’ll tell you...

🥳It’s because today is my incredible partner BIRTHDAY & while she was all geared up to go live-I insisted she take the day off & celebrate with her family. So...we will be going live tomorrow night with an awesome topic-be sure to tune in!!

🌟Until then, I wanted to publicly give my co-founder-fellow working mama-bad a** athlete-wife-friend & so much more a huge shout out on our page as she walks into age 32 with confidence, grit & grace. This girl is ready for another incredible year of putting in hard work & living each day to the fullest.

🌟Lauren YOU are the real deal & a true gift to the world. I am so grateful for your friendship & pinch myself daily that we are sharing our working “cop-mom” life journey together. Thank you for being a beautiful example of the true success that good old fashion hard work, dedication, humility & heart can bring to a woman in blue.

🌟You are an inspiration to so many...but most importantly you are a role model, rock & true inspiration to Sloan-the most important human on the planet. Because of YOU she knows she can do anything...and she will, just like her MAMA!

🥳Happy Birthday Lauren. Love you so much. I am so proud of all that you are & all that I know you will become. I’m here for you always & believe in you more than you will ever realize🥰

🌟There are NO LIMITS to what you will achieve in this amazing life. It’s time to go crush 32 like the you are💙👮🏻‍♀️💪

Don’t put yourself in a box. You don’t belong in there!

What in the world are we talking about when we say this? We’re saying don’t restrict yourself; don’t put yourself down; and don’t allow anyone else to tell you what you can and cannot achieve.

Don’t create a version of yourself in your head that doesn’t correlate with who you are or who you want to be. This was a hard lesson to learn over the years, and it was created by a false sense of what we thought others thought and what we thought their expectations were.

LET 👏🏻 IT 👏🏻 GO

Focus on your dreams, what your values are, and work hard to achieve them... irregardless of what anyone thinks - even if you doubt it yourself! Set your mind in a place that allows for positive vibes and allowing the possibility of your dreams coming true. Then get to work!!!
