📸 From Moments to Memories: The Heart Behind Grit & Grace Creations
I never set out to start a photography business—I just wanted to freeze time. My boys were growing up fast, and I wanted to capture every moment: their sports, school events, proms, and all the little milestones in between. The kind of photos I wish I had from my own childhood.
That love for storytelling led to Kathryn Renee Photography in 2014, which later became Grit & Grace Creations. And here I am today, still chasing moments—not just for myself, but for other families too.
But let’s be real—no journey is made alone. A few major influences shaped this adventure:
❤️ My Husband – Watching him build The Traveling Chef inspired me to chase my own passions, not just in photography but in every creative outlet I’ve explored. His drive, creativity, and constant support push me forward.
👦👦 My Boys – The reason I picked up a camera in the first place. They may not need Mom as much these days (cue the heartache), but they’ll always be my why.
🐶 My Pack – Zeus, Zoey, Zeke, Dozer, and Storm… I never thought I’d be a dog person, but now I couldn’t imagine life without them.
🎨 My Creative Spirit – Photography was just the beginning. From scrapbooking and engraving to T-shirts and candles (because let’s be honest, my obsession was getting out of hand), I’ve always loved making things with my hands. That passion turned into This & That Candles & Crafts, because why not turn an obsession into something beautiful?
Every photo I take, every craft I create, every memory I help preserve—it all comes from a place of love.
