I will be growing reapers, rb003 and whatever else I can find that’s really floral. I will be training to beat that issue. I’m only going to improve from here, I just know it. I won’t be taken out so easy next time. 2026 will be my year for competing.

Finally back home after going on a trip to terre haute Indiana. I competed in my first ever pepper eating competition. I am proud and disappointed in myself at the same time. I went out first in the 3rd round due to a Carolina reaper. The taste was so awful it made me gag and throw up in my mouth. I had two options swallow the puke and try to finish the reaper or just puke and be out. I sadly chose the latter, so that’s where I come in disappointed. I didn’t want to be the first one out, but I can’t feel to bad because 3 other competitors dropped out right after me. I mean mere seconds after me. I am proud of myself for overcoming my self doubt and getting on that stage and competing. This just showed me what I already knew and that was floral/perfumy is my kryptonite. Just gives the motivation to push harder for next year. This is something I enjoy and want to be good at. I would love to be able to take home a belt one day. Not for anyone else or for the belt itself, just for the personal achievement and accomplishment I would feel after winning. I love eating hot peppers and doing hot/spicy challenges/products. I will push myself to get past the gag reflex that the floral peppers cause. I am sorry for anyone who believed in me, but just know my journey isn’t over and I’m only going to get better. Cause you all know, the spicy life is a good life.

Probably my biggest harvest of the season and I sent these peppers out to a fellow chilihead to enjoy. He was needing some peppers to train with for an upcoming comp so of course I had to help out my boy.
