UPDATED VEHICLE REGISTRATION INFORMATION FROM GOV. MILLS NEW EXECTUTIVE ORDER:

On October 19, 2020, Governor Mills issued Executive Order 15 FY20/21, mandating that expired vehicle registrations must be registered following the schedule below:

1. For vehicles that had expired or were purchased prior to the declaration of the emergency (Jan 1 to March 15) – IMMEDIATELY
2. For vehicles that expired or were purchased in the months of March, April and May – within 60 days of the signing of the executive order.
3. For vehicles that expired or were purchased in the months of June, July, August and September – within 120 days of the signing of the executive order.
4. For vehicles expiring in October and months going forward – normal statutory compliance.

Springvale BMV is still not open, but Kennebunk BMV is now allowing for walk-ins. If you can register normally through your municipality or BMV before the end of the emergency you should do so IMMEDIATLY.
