“I can’t afford it” is rarely the truth.

What most people really mean is:
I don’t see the path yet.

And that’s where so many dreams stall.

The path doesn’t show up when you feel confident.
It doesn’t appear once everything is figured out.

It shows up after you move.

One small action.
One decision.
One step forward — even when it feels insignificant.

That’s how momentum is built.
That’s how opportunities find you.

And that’s how lives quietly change.

What’s one small action you could take today—before you feel ready?

I’ve always liked writing New Year’s goals—and it has nothing to do with motivation or “fresh starts.”

It’s about clarity.

Most gym owners don’t fail because they’re lazy.
They fail because they’re busy… without direction.

Writing goals forces me to slow down and answer a few uncomfortable questions:
• What actually worked last year?
• What did I tolerate that I shouldn’t have?
• Where did I confuse effort with progress?
• Who do I need to become to run the business I say I want?
• Who do I need to hire to stop being the bottleneck?

Goals aren’t wishes.
They’re decisions.

When I write them down, I’m not predicting the future—I’m committing to it.

And here’s the part most people miss:
A goal without a system is just a good intention.

That’s why I don’t just write revenue goals or growth goals.
I write identity goals.
Leadership goals.
System and ex*****on goals.

Because the year doesn’t change your business—
your standards do.

If you’re a gym owner heading into the new year, don’t ask:
“What do I hope happens?”

Ask instead:
“What am I willing to do differently—consistently—starting now?”
“And who do I need on my team to make that possible?”

Strong systems.
Strong leaders.
Strong results.

👉 What’s one standard you’re raising this year?

Happy New Year! Scroll right to see us at NYE 27 years ago heading into the year we got married followed by the year we opened

Life (time) flies by! Stop for a moment this week to let the year sink in. Where you’re at. Who you’re with. And what you’re grateful for.

Looking back at 2025 it wasn’t an easy year. I haven’t been able to put together a highlight reel.

Some highs and some lows but the overall feeling I have - What’s next? Let’s goooo! Who’s with me?

2026 is gonna start off pretty funky with my first major planned surgery on 1/26 ACL reconstruction but hey let’s do this so I can keep doing all the things I want to do!

In the mean time grateful I have a business that can handle me stepping out for a bit and a partner in life since over 27 years ago to support me!

Everyone’s setting new years goals but the main focus needs to be WHO you start 2026 with. It makes a difference!

Pictured starting 2025 with my training partner in February 2025- swipe to see us in December 2025.

We spent the year navigating life’s curveballs while staying consistent to hold each other accountable to our goals. Thankful for each other, our coach and our supportive relationships (friends & husbands).

If you’ve only been thinking about the goals you have for 2026 I encourage you to right now figure out WHO you need to start 2026 with?

Do you need to hire a new coach? Join a new gym community? Surround yourself with a different circle of support than you currently have?

Good food, good company & a team I’m incredibly proud of.

This year, we finally reached our pre-pandemic membership numbers—and with that momentum, we were able to bring on a Director of Client Relations & Operations to help set us up for continued growth.

What’s wild to think about is that this team looks completely different than the one we walked into 2020 with. Even though it feels like we’ve been head-down, in it together, climbing the same mountain ever since.

This 2025 team—and this year—mattered.

Some team members are brand new. Others have been with us for 4–5 years. Every single one of them made a difference for the clients who walked through our doors this year.

What I’m most proud of is how this team showed up.

Everyone experienced highs and lows.
Big life moments—some joyful, some incredibly hard.
Health challenges. Family responsibilities. Losses. Transitions.

There were seasons where just showing up took more energy than anyone else could see.

And yet—we showed up anyway.

We showed up for early sessions.
We showed up when clients were frustrated, tired, or doubting themselves.
We showed up when it would’ve been easier to pull back.

That’s the team behind Results Fitness—and I couldn’t be more grateful.
