Arroz Caldo || I think I’ve posted it before but this is my go-to meal when we’re sick. This time I used homemade chicken broth and rotisserie chicken. And I also got to use my egg cooker to make this perfect medium boiled egg.

I haven’t been this sick in a long time so I could barely taste the food when it was time to eat. 😅

This week sucked. There’s really no other way to describe it. 😂

I’m on my period which is usually a low time for me mentally, emotionally and physically. I’ve been in bed more times than I can count, I’ve lost my temper so many times, I’ve been feeling touched out almost every day and it’s been a struggle to keep up with the house work.

It’s easy for me to dwell in what I did wrong and internalize that. But I’m grateful that I have a husband who always has my back and is there to remind me to be gracious with myself.

Just a brief moment of transparency in how it’s like being a mom while on her period. 😂
