The 2026 Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta (Balloon Fiesta) runs from October 3 through October 11, 2026, at Balloon Fiesta Park in Albuquerque, New Mexico!

I recommend getting up early enough to watch the Dawn Patrol, which features early morning pre-dawn inflations and staggered launches starting around 5:45 a.m. to check upper-level wind speeds and flight conditions before sunrise.

After twenty-five years, Simple Plan is still putting on one heck of a show. And I loved being able to attend their first-ever performance in Albuquerque!

I brought back the dramatic side part, swoopy bangs, smoky eye, and, of course, the millennial peace sign ✌🏻 for last night’s Simple Plan: Bigger Than You Think! Tour – The Sequel! with Bowling for Soup and 3OH!3 at First Financial Credit Union Amphitheater. This show was so fun and perfectly nostalgic!

I love the experience of going to the Santa Fe Opera (The Santa Fe Opera). If you’ve never been, tailgating before the opera is a beloved Santa Fe tradition. You can keep it simple with a picnic and your favorite drinks out of the back of your car, or go all out with umbrellas, tablecloths, candelabras, and catered dinners. The entire property is beautiful, and even the parking lot has panoramic mountain views.

Yesterday, I joined the Santa Fe Chamber of Commerce’s (Santa Fe Chamber of Commerce) Santa Fe Rising group for an evening of networking before the performance of Rodelinda. It was such a fun way to experience one of Santa Fe’s most iconic traditions while chatting with other young professionals.

If you’re a young professional looking to get more involved in Santa Fe, I highly recommend keeping an eye on future Santa Fe Rising events. They’ve been a great way to meet new people while experiencing everything our city has to offer, and we’re getting ready to announce the next few events soon!

Before summer slips away, make sure this is on your calendar!

Frazier Shows () is bringing the Santa Fe Summer Carnival back to Santa Fe, New Mexico August 6–9, 2026!

It’s hard to believe we’re already talking about August, but if you’re looking for one more summer adventure before school starts and schedules fill back up, this is a fun one.

Last year I spent the evening wandering through the carnival, watching the rides light up the night sky, playing games, and of course stopping for carnival food. There’s something about a carnival that makes you feel like a kid again.

Here’s what you need to know:
• Thursday, August 6: 6–10pm
• Friday, August 7: 6pm–11pm
• Saturday, August 8: 3pm–12am
• Sunday, August 9: 3–9pm

Admission is free but you will need tickets to ride the rides. Each ride takes between 4–7 tickets.
• 1 ticket: $1
• 20 tickets: $20
• 40 tickets: $35
• 100 tickets: $75

Or grab a wristband for unlimited rides during these windows:
• Thursday & Friday: 6–9pm
• Saturday & Sunday: 3–6pm
Wristbands are $30 at the gate or $27 online (they stop selling them one hour before they expire).

Find it at Rodeo de Santa Fe, 3237 Rodeo Rd in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Who’s your go-to carnival buddy?

The Canyon Road Summer Walks (Canyon Road Summer Walks) are one of Santa Fe’s newest traditions, bringing together art, music, food, and community on select Wednesday evenings each summer. From 5 to 8 p.m., Canyon Road closes to vehicle traffic so you can stroll down the middle of the street while galleries stay open late, artists give demonstrations, interactive craft stations invite you to join in, live music fills the air, and local restaurants and bars serve food and drinks along the way.

Our family went for the first time earlier this month, and we had such a great time! It was a low-effort, super family-friendly evening, and we ended up running into so many friends along Canyon Road. We grabbed dinner at Cafe Canyon (Cafe Canyon), which I’d never been to before. They were serving tasty green chile bison burgers and some of the best potato salad I’ve ever had, which I highly recommend if it’s offered again!

There’s so much to do and you can simply show up, wander, and see where the night takes you. The next 2026 Canyon Road Summer Walks are scheduled for August 5 and September 9 from 5 to 8 p.m. I definitely recommend adding one to your summer bucket list!

Have you been to a Canyon Road Summer Walk?

You are going to want to make a reservation at Rosewood Inn of the Anasazi () ASAP!

I was recently invited to an intimate dinner at Anasazi Restaurant celebrating the launch of Executive Chef Cristian Pontiggia’s new menu, and I’m still thinking about it weeks later.

We asked Chef Cristian (Executive Chef Cristian Pontiggia) to guide us through the menu, and every course was a hit. We enjoyed House-made Focaccia with Green Chile Butter, Burrata & Pear Salad, Tuna Carpaccio, Mushroom Cappuccino in the cutest little cups, Mushroom Ravioli, a special Bone Marrow & Risotto dish, and perfectly cooked Chilean Sea Bass.

As someone who’s spent most of her life avoiding mushrooms, I never expected to leave raving about not one, but two mushroom dishes. The Mushroom Cappuccino and Mushroom Ravioli completely changed my mind. I guess I’m a mushroom person now.

And then Pastry Chef Jessica Brewer (hellajessica666) spoiled us with four incredible desserts for the table to share. The White Chocolate Mousse was my favorite!

A special shoutout to Sommelier Kristina Bustamante (Kristina Hayden Bustamante), whose wine pairings were absolutely on point. She somehow managed to be both incredibly knowledgeable and one of the funniest people in the room.

Seriously, go try this for yourself. If you don’t have someone to go with, I’m sure you could twist my arm to come along! ◡̈

I had the chance to attend the reopening celebration for The Pink Adobe (The Pink Adobe & The Dragon Room) and the Dragon Room, and longtime fans will be happy to know they still feel like the places we know and love. The charm, character, and quirky details are all still there, with a refreshed menu, some new art, and some updates behind the scenes.

The Dragon Room has always been a favorite of mine. It’s where my husband and I had our second date and our first kiss, so it was fun to see these beloved Santa Fe spaces begin their next chapter.

Welcome back, Pink Adobe and Dragon Room!
