Trisha Yearwood has never shied away from being honest — especially when it comes to love and life behind the spotlight.

The country icon recently reflected on how her life changed after marrying Garth Brooks in 2005, revealing that she made a conscious decision to step back from her demanding career to focus on their relationship.

Brooks and Yearwood tied the knot on December 10, 2005, in a private ceremony at their home near Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Speaking during In Her Own Words: An Evening with Trisha Yearwood at The Paley Center for Media in New York City on Saturday (Nov. 8), Yearwood explained how her approach to life shifted after tying the knot.

“When I married Garth and I moved to Oklahoma, I stopped,” she said.

For the past few years, Jason Aldean's family has been quietly dealing with a close family member's painful health decline. Now, as the singer prepares to release his new song "Help You Remember," he and wife Brittany are opening up about the family tragedies that inspired it.

Aldean previously mentioned that his uncle died from Lewy body dementia, and said that another family member is currently dealing with a similar experience.

In a new social media video, Brittany reveals that that family member is her father. Brittany's dad was diagnosed with the same disease, which she emotionally describes as "the long goodbye," in 2022.

Her video also includes a compilation of footage of herself with her dad through the years, beginning when she was a young child and continuing through present day, with her dad spending time with her own two young kids.

"The heartache that diseases like this bring to a family is something we know all too well. We hope this song brings comfort to anyone going through something similar," her post is captioned. Watch below.

Vince Gill will be a special honoree at the 2025 CMA Awards this month.

He's receiving the Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award, according to a press release sent out by the Country Music Association Monday morning (Nov. 10.)

Gill will accept his trophy during the ceremony.

He'll also be feted with a tribute performance before receiving the honor, though it's yet to be revealed which artists are attached to the tribute.

Vince Gill is being honored with the CMA Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award in 2025.

The trophy is handed out to an artist who has "attained the highest degree of recognition in country music," according to the CMA.

It recognizes those who have achieved "both national and international prominence and stature through concert performances, humanitarian efforts, philanthropy, streaming numbers, record sales and public representation at the highest level."

Tim McGraw isn't the only member of his household who's spent more time in a hospital gown than preferable. His wife, country star Faith Hill, has also undergone several surgeries, including five on her neck.

This isn't the first time Hill's neck surgeries have made news.

In 2015 she underwent a relatively common procedure called an anterior cervical discectomy and fusion. That came after a 2011 procedure.

Add three more neck surgeries and two more on her hand and you're getting an idea of the challenges she's faced across the last decade.

Think you've seen Kenny Chesney's show at the Sphere? You ain't seen nothin' yet! The country veteran is re-imagining his show before he heads back to the iconic venue in 2026.

"We have to change it some. Half the show's probably gonna be completely different and we're gonna change some of it. There are some songs that we haven't done in awhile that we're gonna do," Chesney revealed during a chat on No Shoes Radio.

Chesney's setlist for his first round of shows at the Sphere included some of his biggest hits, such as "Beer in Mexico," "I Go Back" and "No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problems."

While many wouldn't fix something that wasn't broken, Chesney sees his Vegas shows as an opportunity to switch things up. Residency shows tend to be different than regular concerts at bigger venues. They're more intimate and allow artists to dig into their bag of deep cuts if they choose to.

"That's the beauty of it, because in that environment, you get to do songs that you don't get to do at stadium shows, right? And so we did a lot of that this year. And we're gonna do some more of that next summer," Chesney shared.

Miranda Lambert may be one of country music’s biggest stars, but her backstage must-haves are refreshingly down-to-earth.

The “Wranglers” singer recently appeared on The Joe Rogan Experience, where she and host Joe Rogan chatted about everything from her love of golf and mounted shooting to missing life on the road during the pandemic.

But one of the most memorable (and very Miranda) moments came when Rogan asked what’s on her tour rider — and found out it’s anything but over the top.

“People are always like, ‘What’s on your rider?’” Lambert said with a laugh. “I’m like, ‘Cheetos and Tito’s.’ That’s kind of all I need.”

Yep, that’s it: crunchy orange snacks and vodka.

Lambert added that her team might toss in a cheese tray, too, but overall, her backstage vibe is pretty simple.

Mark this day down as the day Miranda Lambert proves that she's the country queen — and the proof is in the pot.

Lambert dropped a photo dump on her Instagram with the caption, "October in Round Top is practical magic." Round Top is a town in Texas that is about 70 miles east of Austin.

The photo slides are pictures of her and her mother, along with friends, doing various fall-type activities and wearing some witch costumes.

But the last slide — a video of Lambert executing a crawfish boil basically barefoot — is where we will hyper-focus.

In the video, Lambert is with fellow country artist Julianna Rankin, who is completely barefoot, and Lambert is in flip flops as they hoist a giant stainless-steel pot off the burner and onto the ground.

The comment section is flooded with people saying how brave the two are for being barefoot around the hot pot that could easily scald them.

Brandon Blackstock was well known as Kelly Clarkson's husband and the father of their two kids.

But Reba McEntire has a different perspective on the talent manager, who died in August at 48 years old.

In a new interview with People, McEntire reflected on memories of Blackstock from long before his marriage to Clarkson. She was married to his father, Narvel Blackstock, for 26 years and got to know Brandon when he was just a little boy.

“My relationship with my stepson, Brandon Blackstock, was precious,” McEntire recalls. “I absolutely loved that child. He came into my life, I guess, when he was four years old. Then when Narvel and I got married, he was 13 or 14.”

Lainey Wilson is headed to the big screen! The country singer is set to make her film debut in the 2026 movie Reminders of Him.

Fans won't have to wait long to get a look at Lainey Wilson's role in Reminders of Him as she appears in the first trailer for the forthcoming flick.

In the movie Wilson plays Amy, a shift manager at a local grocery store who befriends the main character Kenna Rowan (Maika Monroe) when no one else will give her a chance.

While her role is a bit bigger in the full film, we only get a small glimpse of Wilson's Amy interacting with Kenna as the two have a chat in a public restroom in the newly released trailer.

"What's your trauma?" Amy asks.

"I can't get a job because I just got out of prison," Kenna replies.

"S--t, you win," she says.

Nicole Combs’ baby bump is growing fast! In a series of photos shared on social media by Luke Combs, fans got a sweet glimpse of his wife and their third child, who is expected to arrive this winter.

In the first photo, Luke and Nicole appear to be having their own conversation backstage at one of his shows. Nicole stands with one hand on her hip, wearing a denim vest and what looks like a white prairie skirt. A black and silver concho belt sits just below her tummy, perfectly accentuating her baby bump.

The second photo shows Combs, facing away from the camera, holding one of his son’s hands. It appears to be Tex — and the resemblance between father and son in the way they stand is uncanny. They even point their toes outward in the exact same way.

Nicole stands off to the side, offering her son a pair of ear protection headphones. Her growing baby bump is visible again, this time tucked beneath blue jeans and a brown shirt.

“Bring your fam to work,” Combs wrote in the caption.

Conversations about country music's best guitarists need to include Vince Gill.

Sure, there are a few other living legends worthy of consideration, but nobody has been so good for so long.

The 68-year-old is a humble genius and we've found proof. It might be a solo from "Oklahoma Borderline" or a cover with famous friends, but it's always clean and original. Gill is a meticulous guitar picker in age of louder-the-better guitar playing.

He's a tactician with an unrivaled ear and understanding of great music is made.

Recently we polled our YouTube audience on this topic, asking who the best living guitar player is. While the results were very close, one man stood out.

After 3,500 votes, Gill was in the lead with 36 percent of the vote. Keith Urban came next, and then it was Brad Paisley and Steve Wariner.

Miranda Lambert and her husband, Brendan McLoughlin, are coming up on seven years of marriage — and there’s one quality about him that stands out above all the rest.

“He’s so supportive,” Lambert gushed. “I’m so lucky to have him as my husband.”

The country superstar says McLoughlin — a retired NYPD officer — came from a very different world, but stepped seamlessly into hers.

“He’s from New York City, so this whole world is totally different to him, but he came straight into it,” she told Cowgirl Magazine.

The "Gunpowder & Lead" singer continued, “Were almost at seven years of marriage now. I have a stepson, and we spend a lot of time in New York with him. But the beauty of it all is that Brendan’s a retired NYPD officer.”
