This Saturday May 21st and LAMP are bringing you one of the best Techno acts in the world and an LA native he will be fresh off his European tour and we have an amazing location and a huge Danley sound system to bring those proper downtown LA warehouse vibes. Hey there LAMP Fam. In the spirit of our previous Track of the Day reviews we are kicking off a new feature we are calling Selections. There is obviously a ton of great music out there and we are constantly on the lookout for those releases that stick out and resonate with us and we want to continue to share those with you. Today’s selection is a big one coming from a new label Recordings. Born from the internationally renowned agency which reperesents some of the biggest names in Techno across the globe. A few names just to give you an idea are Coyu, Marc Houle, Florian Meindl and the producer of our featured selection . Her track ‘Sequence’ is one of twelve from a VA release that is loaded with a mixture of heavy hitting techno that really encapsulate the genre. LAMP [Los Angeles Music Project]

Helmed by Alex Slater, Randall Bass and Joshua Brooks, the Los Angeles Music Project—LAMP—has grown from a creative think tank into a multi-faceted collective. The group produces highly curated music content on their digital platform, execute immersive experiential events supplemented with custom visuals, and nurture budding artist projects.

With a goal of elevating the quality of music writers, educating emerging DJs and Producers and highlighting a broad range of artists and labels who opt for a community effort angle on music content, LAMP's online platform provides a finger-on-the-pulse approach to its daily audio experiences, adding trending value to the expansive underground house music scene—and the plentiful news it generates daily—with categories and angles such as track of the day spotlights, a long-standing weekly mix series and premiere features as hooks that draw in a growing readership.
