'Smoke' 🔥

Inspired by true events, follows a troubled detective and an enigmatic arson investigator as they pursue two serial arsonists.

The series' distinct visual style was developed through early collaboration between the cinematography and color teams. Senior Colorist Siggy Ferstl partnered with cinematographer Sam McCurdy to create a foundational show LUT and later used specialized tools like the Film Look Creator plugin in DaVinci Resolve 19.5 to shape the textured, period-appropriate look.

'Bad Guys 2' 🐾

Everyone's favorite felons are back, and this time, they've got company. Experience the high-stakes sequel that kicks the chaos into high gear with a globe-trotting heist, a new crew of criminal masterminds, and eye-popping visuals to match. 💥

Company 3 Senior Colorist Jason Hanel worked with the SDFX Studios to refine the 3D version, delivering an immersive experience that complements the original mono grade by DreamWorks Animation.

"The work I did on Bad Guys 2 was focused on optimizing the presentation of the 3D version. Color grading was done throughout to ensure the look was true to the stunning mono version (completed in-house at Dreamworks Animation). This included matching many specific adjustments to the characters and their environment. Additionally, the overall grading was optimized for both standard 3D projection and Dolby Vision 3D masters. It was a pleasure working with the SDFX team to ensure the stereo version delivers an immersive experience for audiences."
