We had the pleasure of working alongside the ENVE Composites team to create and produce the launch campaign for their new SES line shot in Tuscon, AZ earlier this Spring.

Here, we feature the SES 2.3 and dive into the experience of a early morning ride with athlete Griffin Easter.

Our longtime friend, DP, collaborator and as of late - director. Mason has been part of the ALTO Visuals family since the beginning when we were kids growing up in the Pacific Northwest filming passion projects in his grandparent’s garage, spending late nights printing vinyl stickers and adventuring the surrounding outdoors.

Born into a family of cyclists, his passion for riding bikes has been in his blood since early on. From downhill races, dirt jump competitions to riding with friends, he accredits most of his directing and cinematography look and feel to the copious amount of time spent on two wheels.

Well versed and highly-specialized with leading camera technology systems and equipment, Mason is the best at getting the camera moving as fast he can to transport viewers into a high-paced action dream.

We have some incredible work directed and shot by Mason to share in the upcoming days and weeks. Stay tuned 📺

Post-Production Assistant - Internship

We are looking for a post-production assistant who is passionate about film/photo/music/arts and is ready to jump into the deep end of post-production. You should identify with our work, culture and craft. Great skills in Adobe Suite (**Pr, Ae, Ps**) are a must but 3D/Motion Design skills are a big bonus +++. You will be expected to provide general post-production support, serve as an assistant editor as needed and edit BTS assets. It is also expected as part of the internship to help with general, everyday tasks - office management, local errands, side projects, etc.

Production Assistant - Internship

We are looking for a production assistant who is passionate about film/photo/music/arts and thrives when working with a multidisciplinary creative team in a fast paced production environment. Basic knowledge of the Adobe Suite and experience with all Google/Office applications are a must. Applicants should consider themselves to be driven, detail-oriented, maintain excellent organizational skills and see work through a creative eye with a curiosity to learn in a hands-on environment. You will be expected to production assist/coordinate, provide general admin & office need support, run local errands and support internal and/or client projects on an as needed basis.

Both internships start mid-May and will last until early-mid August -2022

You are required to work at our Santa Monica office two days a week.

Candidates seeking internships for school credit are preferred, but not required.

These positions are unpaid, but may lead to paid opportunities outside of internship program scope. We will provide a weekly allowance for lunch along with other small, but supportive benefits.

Movement unlocks a better world and to move is to truly live. Even on the darkest days, there can always be an escape and for Spencer Rathkamp, that is by bike. The bike allows one to hit the reset button and escapes from the challenge and clutter of everyday life. Brought to a place of mental freedom, where the mind can wander to the depths of which are desired, the distinction of person and bike disappears and only one thing matters. Actively absorbing everything that nature has to offer is a refresher for the soul that provides a nearly indescribable feeling, one that can only be understood by experiencing it.

One Day You'll Go Blind, a documentary by Leo Pfeifer that tells the story of Justin Bishop, one of the world's only blind skateboarders.

When he was eight, Justin Bishop was diagnosed with a rare degenerative eye disease. By 20, his vision had deteriorated significantly, but he still skated every day, squinting at a blurry half-pipe and filling in the gaps in his vision with memory until one night, in 2011, when he could no longer see his feet.
