I don’t know Pastor Kent Christmas. We’ve not met. However, while I was behind stage meeting with some participants and leaders of The Return event, doing interviews and discussing another prayer event coming soon, I had briefly observed Kent sitting alone at the time. I didn’t approach him because I felt that the Lord was speaking to him. When he took the podium later, I had no doubt that he had heard from God. What the Lord said through him is what I believe to be a prophetic word to the church and the world. I believe something shifted in the Washington DC atmosphere in this moment. Notice that out of all the normal signs we hear about, such as pestilences, and earthquakes, wars and rumors of wars, the first thing Jesus said is beware of DECEPTION!
We are living in a time in world history for the first time that deception is more prevalent, more intense, more "in your face" (due to technology) then ever before! We have never before seen the battle for TRUTH at a global level so intensified to where it is virtually forced into the lifestyle of today's daily routine of society.
Jesus also told us in John 14:16,17:
16 Then I will ask My Father and He will give you another Helper. He will be with you forever.
17 He is the Spirit of Truth. The world cannot receive Him. It does not see Him or know Him. You know Him because He lives with you and will be in you.

Then He said in John 16:13: when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth...

Let's reflect on the depth and magnitude of what Christmas really celebrates. Yes, we all think of the birth of God's son, Jesus, the Christ child, but the depth of what that really means is simply profound. Let me elaborate a bit...
The one and only supreme almighty God of the universe considered it so valuable to enter into our physical earthly natural realm that He wrapped Himself up in flesh so that He could not only feel what we feel, live what we live and completely relate to what we experience in this realm of existence, but that He could suffer with all of our physical, mental and emotional challenges and be sacrificed as our human representative to pay the ultimate price for our redemption out of the dominion of darkness!
Here's the ultimate point here...It was so important to the Almighty God, our Creator, to not only solve our "spiritual" need, but to literally come and live and die in our "physical" existence so that He could solve our physical needs as well!
Just think, Almighty God took on the "limitations" of a physical natural human body for all eternity so that He could redeem us; spirit, soul and body! So don't ever believe the lie from the enemy that God doesn't care or pay attention to your physical and emotional needs or that somehow they are not as important to Him, because He became flesh and dwelt among us and we beheld His glory! (John 1:16)

This is a very timely and powerful prophecy for the season we are just stepping into as the new year 2017 is upon us. Actually the Biblical year of 5777 has already started as of October.
We were at the local Tulsa State Fair yesterday and had the opportunity to attend the "News Boys" concert that evening. They concluded the concert with their "God's Not Dead" song.
