As of today (YTD) in 2026 here are the tornado report preliminary totals!!!
(One of these doesn't look like the rest!!! LOL)

Illinois has already broken it's old record of 140!

Illinois typically averages around 54 tornadoes per year!

The NWS out of Lincoln, IL has officially rated the Mattoon-Charleston tornado as a EF2 with peak winds estimated at 116...
